As the world changes, consumer behaviour adapts. Technology, convenience, busy
lives, and the impact of Covid-19 have accelerated the growth of the delivery

Though home delivery has existed for centuries, the sheer scale and speed of
today’s delivery demands present new challenges for our planet and its
inhabitants.

Currently, Europe sees the delivery of 16.5 billion parcels annually, averaging
30 parcels per person. By 2030, this number could skyrocket to 30 billion
parcels, amounting to over one parcel per week for each person in Europe.

The on-demand economy has led to an abundance of individually wrapped and
delivered parcels. The sustainability of delivering single items like a can of
soda or a pair of socks is questionable.




PROBLEM

Traditional delivery systems are not equipped to handle this rising demand. The
increasing prevalence of dark warehouses, noisy delivery mopeds, congested
