information, municipal code, rules, and regulations, and much more!  If you

REMINDERS, NOTICES, CITY NEWS, & MORE...

Transit will be officially open for business as of April 18, and will be serving
the communities of Hutchinson County. The Rural Office of Community Services is
a private non-profit agency that offers various programs to assist community
members. Our ROCS Transit program has various locations throughout south-eastern
and south-central South Dakota, which provide affordable public transit
services.  
 
We are wheelchair accessible and offer free rides to seniors (60+).

With snow season upon us city hall recommends ALL residents to sign-up with

 FOOD TRUCKS 2023
All food trucks operating inside city limits need to come down to city hall to
obtain proper permit for 2023
Food Truck permits are $50.00 for the year
 
RUBBLE SITE 
 
Rubble site is closed for the winter season
Contact city hall for limited access. 
 
 
 
Sewer  Notice
 

Sewer Flat rate as of October Billing is raised from $27.00 to $32.00

 

   

   Food Bank Distribution

  1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month – from 3pm-5:30pm

 Location – Salem Lutheran Church (use east education wing entrance)

 

Feeding South Dakota

  3rd Friday of every month from 9am-10am

  Location – Salem Lutheran Church parking lot

Sanitary Sewer Issues

If you are experiencing sewer issues in your home, the City is asking that you
contact city hall prior to hiring a plumber so the City can verify that it isn't
the main line that is causing the problem.  Thank you.
