Shari Fitzpatrick,

founder of Shari’s Berries and owner of Berried in Chocolate, will share a
keynote message (as well as chocolate-covered strawberries, wine from her
private label, and the chance to win a visit to her B&B near Napa Valley!), Love
& the Outcome will join us in-person to lead worship, Taylor from the Fish will
emcee, and a surprise guest will report on how God is working through our
partnership to eradicate early child marriage in Indonesia on Pearl Island (name
changed to protect those who serve there). You don’t want to miss Sisterhood
2021!

Love & The Outcome,

A Christian pop husband-and-wife duo out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Love &
The Outcome is comprised of singer/songwriter Jodi King and bassist Chris
Rademaker.

Jodi and Chris know the feeling of watching the sun set in California. Windows
down, U2's The Joshua Tree blaring on the radio, they've felt the rush of warm,
dry wind as they cross the desert in the direction of the neon lights of the
city.

As they navigate life as new parents with a growing music career, they're
learning to live in the moment, trust God, and rest in His peace, no matter
where the road leads. They sing on their title track: "Don't want to miss, miss
/ The moment slip away / It's a gift, a gift / Every breath we take …. Yesterday
is gone / Tomorrow may not come / We're only given one chance to live."




Each year in Indonesia, countless girls between the ages of 13-19 are kidnapped
and married off. Despite the government's efforts to reduce the rate of child
marriage, there are still several regions where the issue persists. In one of
the villages Mission: Hope serves, as many as 32% of girls between 13-19 have to
forgo continuing their education to care for their husbands and children. These
young brides are susceptible to domestic violence and divorce, which cause huge
setbacks for them and their children, including poverty, child neglect,
undernourishment, childhood traumas, and lack of education. In fact, after being
divorced, many of the girls are forced to move to Malaysia to find work, while
their children are left behind with their grandparents. Mission: Hope is working
hard to try to end this tradition of early child marriage by taking a three-step
approach to empowering young women: (1) education, (2) establishing local forums
for discussions, (3) petitioning for changes to local laws. We cannot wait for
you to hear about all of the exciting progress that has been made with this
project. Truly, lives are being changed!
