MISSION To keep the members abreast of the latest refining knowledge techniques & technology through continuous interaction training, knowledge sharing & exchange of ideas. Through ongoing interaction training, information sharing, and idea exchange, keep members up to date on the latest refining knowledge techniques and technology. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Home ABOUT US -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PEORA is a registered body to look after and facilitate the interest of Edible Oil Refineries in Pakistan. Pakistan has embarked on the journey of value addition by installing continuous plants to refine Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Soft Oils. The refiners in Pakistan are providing fresh quality of refined Palm Oil and Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) to Soap industry / Ghee industries. The Edible Oil Refineries are in-fact adding value to their products in terms of quality and technology. To organize the Pakistan Edible Oil Conference (PEOC) which is an annual feature January 2022 February 2022 To provide opportunity to PEORA Members to meet and interact with International suppliers. 2. To meet Ministry of Commerce /Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to review tarif on the import of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) as Malaysia/Indonesia have imposed export Tax at the origin. April 2022 December 2022 To achieve maximum Tax relief for PEORA Members. 3 Conduct Meetings / Technical Workshops with the support of Malaysian Palm Oil Board March 2022 December 2022 To create awareness and to keep the Members abreast of the latest Refining Technology. 4 To meet all relevant authorities to create awareness about the fresh Quality of RBD Palm Oil produced by the local Refineries. January 2022 December 2022 To raise awareness of the benefits of fresh oil and to provide support to local refineries that produce value-added products. 5. To meet all relevant authorities to encourage cultivation of local seeds namely Rapeseed / Sunflower seed to reduce our dependency on the import. January 2022 December 2022 Increasing Pakistan's self-sufficiency in domestic oil production, thereby conserving the country's significant foreign exchange and generate employment opportunities. 6. To conduct Annual Elections and Annual General Meeting 1st July, 2022 30th September, 2022 Comply with the rules of DGTO. To promote free and fair participation of all members in the Election of office bearers and the Executive Members of the Association. 7. Regulatory Compliance with Trade Organization Act and any other laws applicable On-Going On-Going To achieve compliance. 8.
