Study for Chronic Hives - Now Enrolling

 

If you have itchy hives that last for 6 weeks or more at a time without any
known cause, you may have chronic spontaneous urticaria, aslo known as chronic
hives.

Chronic hives can affect anyone, though they are more common in women. Hives are
red, white, or flesh-colored bumps (called ‘wheals’) with distinct edges that
may change shape. They can be very itchy and may appear anywhere on the body,
but are often found on the chest, back, arms, and legs.

While there are several treatments available, they do not work for everyone.
This is why doctors and researchers are working to develop new medications that
may better treat chronic hives in the future.

 

About the Study

In this study, doctors are evaluating an investigational oral medication for the
treatment of chronic hives. If you qualify and choose to join the study you will
receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost.

The study lasts about 11 months and involves periodic visits to your study
doctor’s office to evaluate your results and discuss your experiences. You will
also be compensated for your time and travel to attend these visits.
