We recommend using the automatic unsubscribe link wherever possible as this will take effect the fastest.</p><h2 class="h4 mb-2">How we track emails</h2><p>If you give permission for us to record email opens and clicks, we are able to monitor which emails are opened by users and which links they click on. This allows us to improve our content by knowing what is interesting to our users.</p><h2 class="h4 mb-2">Dormant users</h2><p>If you have given permission for us to track your email opens and link clicks; we’ll keep sending you emails until you change your preferences or unsubscribe. If you stop opening emails or clicking links we’ll check in with you after 6 months to see if you still want to receive our content.</p><p>If you haven’t given permission to track your opens we’ll check in after 12 months to make sure you still want to receive our emails.</p><h2 class="h4 mb-2">Your data</h2><p>We <b>do not</b> give your email address or email behaviour data to any other company.</p><p>You have the right to request the deletion of your data. ACER: Coronavirus COVID-19
The world is facing unprecedented challenges in managing the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), we are following the
guidance of government health authorities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of
staff, partners and everyone involved in our work.
While our organisation remains operational as our employees work from home, our
offices are now closed. We continue to offer online a wide range of products and
services that support improved learning.
In line with official government advice applying to ACER's offices in Australia
and around the world, we have:
* Implemented ‘social distancing’ resulting in the need to run online, postpone
or cancel several assessment programs. Registered candidates will be emailed
directly but please also check the relevant website page for the latest
advice
* Made changes to our workshops so they are online, postponed or cancelled.
Those affected will be contacted directly
* Encouraged staff, partners and our contacts to follow official advice on
personal hygiene, such as regular and thorough hand-washing, and limiting
contact with others.
While the current situation is very challenging, ACER is well-placed to work
flexibly and we are committed to supporting you with the high quality, research,
expertise and products that the education community has come to expect.

web contact form. If your enquiry concerns a specific online learning course,
assessment or other product, please use the email address listed on the relevant
website.
ACER will continue to act on official government health advice as the situation
evolves and will provide regular updates here.
