ABOUT US

Just as we were about to give up on finding love, our paths crossed. From the
moment we sat down together, something felt different. There was an ease in our
conversation that surprised us both, and we quickly found ourselves skipping
over the usual first-date small talk and opening up about ourselves in a way we
hadn’t expected. We even unknowingly ordered the same beer, which became the
first of many moments of us saying, “Same!” about things both big and small.
After that first date, we couldn’t wait to see each other again. Just three days
later, we went on our second date, and from then on we were inseparable.
Although our lives before meeting had taken different paths, it was as if we
were always meant to find each other at this exact moment. We fell for each
other deeply and quickly, and in so many ways, it felt like we had always known
each other. When it came to marriage, it didn’t even feel like a question. The
idea of spending our lives together was so obvious that we didn’t need a big
proposal moment to decide. We knew in our hearts from early on that this was it.
We decided to wait a full year to get married-not because we weren’t ready, but
because we thought it would be special to tie the knot on the anniversary of our
very first date. Now, looking back on this time together, we both feel so
grateful-not only for each other but for everything that led to each other.
While part of us might wish we had met earlier, it feels like fate had a perfect
plan for us. Everything fell into place exactly as it was meant to, and we can't
wait to tie the knot and spend the rest of our lives side by side.

ON THE BIG DAY

We’re excited to gather with our family & closest friends on March 15th for a
laid-back celebration! Wedding casual for the ceremony works, but feel free to
bring a change of clothes and some swimwear if you want to take a swim in the
heated pool. We’ll have an informal potluck dinner-if you’re unsure what to
bring, please ask us! Feel free to bring along your favorite beverages to
contribute too. We’re planning a short but sweet ceremony around 6pm, but you’re
welcome to come by anytime during the day to hang out and celebrate with us.
Kids are welcome-the more the merrier. We look forward to seeing you there!
