ARE LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES YOUR PERFECT MATCH?

If you need a solution with no tailpipe emissions, lithium-ion batteries can be
a good match. They offer consistent power, with the convenience of fast,
opportunity charging to aid productivity. They require no maintenance or
equalisation, and no special charging rooms.

However, Hyster lithium-ion lift trucks may require a more intense electrical
grid burden for certain size fleets and charging intervals.




CAN LEAD-ACID BATTERIES POWER YOUR POSSIBILITIES?

Dependable Hyster electric forklifts powered by lead-acid batteries are a
time-tested technology, suited to a wide range of indoor and outdoor
applications. Though they do produce fumes requiring ventilation during
charging, they also provide no tailpipe emissions.

Batteries may take longer to charge than lithium-ion counterparts but can be
exchanged during operation to optimise uptime.




ARE IC FORKLIFTS THE RIGHT FIT?

Internal combustion lift trucks (LPG or Diesel) are a durable and fuel-efficient
match for many applications. Fuelling and storage infrastructure is generally
located outside, meaning no valuable space is lost inside a warehouse.

Hyster IC lift trucks do produce emissions. However, the latest Hyster A Series
lift trucks are Stage V compliant and Diesel models produce 13% less CO2 than
