FUNDED SPACES
AVAILABLE

Wellesley Haddon Dene are pleased to participate in the Government Nursery
Education Grant funding which entitles your child to 15 hours per week of
subsidised child-care. We also offer the 30 hours funding for working parents.
The term after your child’s third birthday, you will be able to claim up to 15
or 30 hours per week.

Please see details below of our offering:

 * 2 year olds: 15 hours 
 * 3 & 4 years old: 15 and 30 hours

We carefully structure our timetable to help parents maximise their 30 hours
funding. However, in order to enjoy the full Preparatory School benefits,
additional charges are made for specialist, high-quality teaching provision
including Music, Art, Science and ICT.

FAMILY

Wellesley House is a family-orientated preparatory school where pupils aged
between 2-11 years have a chance to shine – in the classroom, in the creative
arts and on the sports field – supported by exceptional pastoral care. We cater
for day pupils, who are fully integrated into the school and benefit from an
extended school day.

OUR BEAUTIFUL
LOCATION

Wellesley is located in the quintessentially British seaside town of
Broadstairs, famed for its Victorian architecture and beautiful white
cliff-edged sandy beaches, and for being the home of Charles Dickens. The
Victorians recognised the health benefits of being by the sea and we fully
endorse this thinking, incorporating weekly beach school sessions, where
children get the chance to have lots of traditional seaside fun whilst learning
about marine life and bio-diversity.
