Apply to everything you feel like you can do well every once in a while and then
just keep repeating that until you get interviewed. Then repeat that again until
you get hired.

Until you get hired for something, spend the rest of your time honing your craft
and you'll keep your sanity. If the only thing you do is apply to stuff, you're
probably going to get a little edgy.

@Mouna---What Jennifer said plus since your Profile is Private, we can't even
view it to even give you possible assistance.  In addition, if you haven't
already read all of the information available within this Community and within
Help and Support to get started on Upwork..., you really do need to do that.

Profile Visibility : Locked private
Because you haven't earned money on Upwork in a while, we set your profile to
"private".

T_T unfortunately

I looked at your profile and have 0 clue what you do. you have data entry and
voice talent and java and sql idk what's going on here. I admit I had to look up
"polyvalent" and I imagine nobody is looking for that word and prolly has to
look it up too but it's kinda cool that you know how to use a thesaurus and I
learned a new word today yay

you cannot translate to english I'm gonna lay that on you right now and I don't
know how many sql and java developers call themselves "computer specialists."

Yea this seems like a dead end. You haven't earned for a while cause you can't
get clients and then they make your profile private, and then your chances to
get work are zero.

Since I joined the Upwork platform, I have
not got any job I don't know what is the problem with my profile.
While I am on Fiverr too where I am Level 2 and have more than 100 reviews
there, I registered both accounts almost at the same time.

It would be great for my career and me if someone guided me. Thanks

Since we can only mention positiv thing:
- You are honest about your English skils but you might want to add at least
your native language.
- You have started a portfolio you could work on.
- You have specialized profiles
- Your profile has room for improvement

This is my problem also. I've been on Upwork for 3 years and never got a job.
Now I find my profile is locked to private. How the hell am I supposed to get
any work when nobody can see my profile....absolutely disgusting.

Hello Chandan. Not getting jobs for a long period of time sometimes happens. It
might be a dry spell for you and it definitely, 100% will pass. While you are
waiting you can do something about your portfolio. It is untidy at the moment.
You can put the job samples of the completed works to the back of your
portfolio. See the image. If you click those arrows you can change the order of
portfolio items. After changing them don't forget to press "save" at the end of
a very long list.

This way you can have the photo editing pieces on the first page.

You might also consider making categories. Please check my portfolio and you'll
see what I mean.

From your profile text, delete your name and thanks. Clients see the first
couple of lines of your profile when you apply to a job, don't waste that space
with those. If I were you I'd also increase my hourly rate. You can double it an
see how it goes. Try going for higher budget jobs with bids on budget, not lower
prices. If the budget is 50 don't bid 30. I'm pretty sure you can get those jobs
if you don't under bid.

Well I was all poised to offer the OP some tips about her profile.

But apparently, all her problems are solved. That's great to hear!

Mouna,

You need to reassess your profile. You are setting yourself up as perfect scam
bait. Jill-of-all-trades, mistress-of-none, does not work in the freelancing
world.

You have two below-average scores for one of the most saturated areas on Upwork.
You should hide these, until you can score at least 30% on these two tests.

Since your B&M working life appears to be as IT manager, you should draw from
this experience and offer relevant skills on Upwork.

Here's an unpopular option. You need to hire someone to write your profile for
you. You're a coder. That's obvious. The people who will hire you aren't coders.
They’re business owners looking for your expertise. English is quite clearly
your second language. Those business owners are going to write you off as
inexperienced and unprofessional if you can’t speak to them. Your profile tells
me you can't.

I’m not saying you need to speak English fluently but if you’re aiming for jobs
in a primarily English market, you at least need to be able to fake it. Hire
someone else to write your profile for you if you’re going to seek work in
markets where English is the primary language.Otherwise, the only offers you're
going to get are the rock bottom kind.

Hi,
The same situation here too, I am unable to get any job, I am continuously
sending proposals to clients but no luck.
and the other side I have an account on Fiverr where I am now Level2 with more
than 100 reviews, I register both accounts same time.
