The elliptical works well and is quiet if lubricated correctly. I had to get use
to it as my old one did not have an initial incline/decline when starting. The
settings require some reading of the manual as they are not intuitive to me.

We paid for the room delivery and setup due to the weight of the box and our
location.
The package arrived within the shipping period and the delivery company reached
out to confirm our date and their window (8pm-noon). They called about 20
minutes before noon to let us know they would be a little late,

well. The delivery people were very nice and were careful in moving through the
house.
They indicated that they had not set up this specific elliptical before but had
set up many others.
They were kind enough to let me watch the entire setup as well.
They opened the box and everything was well packaged, so no visual damage to any
parts.
It went together pretty well, the instructions were pretty easy to follow.
Once they were done, I tried it out on an easy setting and everything seemed
fine.
They offered to take the box and packing material, but I kept it in case I
decided I needed to ship it back for some reason. (returns require packaging).
Awhile later, I tried the elliptical for some of my daily exercise and used a
more difficult setting (there is plenty of difficulty for me).
The elliptical started making a raspy scrapping noise. The FAQs in the book and
on the web site indicated this could be due to loose bolts or screws, so I went
over the machine and tightened everything. (Many of them were a little loose).
That helped reduce the noise, but not eliminate it.
I took a video of the elliptical while using is and captured the noise, then
opened a ticket with Horizon. They reached out with an email with a list of
questions concerning the noise, so I did some more testing and narrowed the
noise to one particular joint and sent a video of the noise being made in that
joint.
They responded with their understanding and confirmation of the issue and
shipped us some parts and gave us a phone number to call when the parts arrived
to contact and set up a time for a technician to repair it.
We got the parts and contacted the technician. They arrived on the day we
requested (again within a 4 hour window) and replaced a part that had some
wobble/looseness in it and added some grease to a couple of other joints. We
both tested it and the noise was gone!
I talked to the repair technician and found out more about how to grease the
machine.
Well, the next day we had a little more noise from another joint, so I used some
grease on it and the noise is now still gone after several days of use.
Overall, the support was well done and complete but it would have been much
better if the EX-59 had arrived and had no noise issues.
I also ended up leveling the elliptical manually as it was not quite level after
the initial setup.
The EX-59 is sturdy, and smooth, and now... pretty quiet.
If you choose to pay for them to set it up, be sure to test it using a harder
difficulty to see if it makes any noise and ask the installers to level it.

recommend not choosing the white glove set up service, but just regular delivery
and call a local fitness machine company to assemble, OR do it yourself if you
feel confident. This is only because the people assembling are not always
familiar with the machines, and the assembly may suffer. This was our situation.
Horizon worked with us to correct the situation, and compensated us following
the issue. But I think it makes sense to pay the extra money to have someone
