MEET THE ARTISTS

LYNETTE DOVE

Singer / Songwriter

Originally from Provo, Utah, Lynette moved many times as a young girl, living in
Nebraska, North Carolina, Idaho, Arizona and Wyoming. She moved to American
Fork, Utah her junior year in high school, where she performed at corporate
events, restaurants, ski resorts, weddings, clubs, theaters and church events
statewide.

Shortly after relocating to Nashville in 1988, she became a winning
semi-finalist and finalist on TNN’s ‘You Can Be a Star’ and later ‘Be a Star.’
She began recording studio demos, radio jingles, and opening shows for other
artists. This led to her working with Jerry Bridges, Waylon Jennings’ producer
and long-time bandleader. She has performed with Waylon Jenning's band, “The
Waylors” (now known as Waymore’s Outlaws), opened concerts for Vince Gill, Tom
T. Hall, Dottie West, and the Grand Ole’ Opry’s Jan Howard.

She performed at trade festivals for such large food corporations as Winn Dixie,
DelChamps, and Pathmark throughout the eastern United States. She has also
performed at many national trade shows, county fairs, and entertained at the
Scottsdale Princess, Disney World, the Grand Wailea/Maui, Royal Caribbean Cruise
Lines and Elk Mountain Lodge in Aspen, Colorado. Learn more at

JERRY "JIGGER" BRIDGES

Musician / Songwriter / Producer

“From Muscle Shoals to Music Row.” Jigger is a native Alabamian and an Alabama
Music Hall of Fame Award winning musician. In the early 70’s he joined the
legendary “Fame Gang” and played bass on hits by The Osmonds, Mac Davis, Paul
Anka and Tom Jones.

In 1978 he moved to Nashville. After contributing bass work on the “Dukes of
Hazard” Soundtrack and Waylon Jennings’ “The Greatest Hits” album, subsequently
Waylon Jennings asked Bridges to join “The Waylors” on the road. Jigger spent
more than two decades with Waylon as session musician, record producer and
co-writer. With more than 20 gold and platinum certificates to his credit, he
remains active as a session musician and producer.

As a session player and producer Bridges has been a part of more than a score of
gold, platinum and Top Ten records, and he has performed on stage and in the
studio with many of this generation’s top performers. He has also done film and
television scoring, and owns his own 24-track studio, but it is his work with
Waylon Jennings that has earned him his lasting reputation. As lead guitarist,
bandleader, musical director and tour manager for Jennings, Bridges has played a
key role in one of popular music's all-time great legacies.

COLLABORATION

Lynette Dove and Jerry Bridges met in 1989 in Brentwood, Tennessee. Lynette was
a Nashville newcomer rehearsing for a local show with Jerry’s son, Jeff’s band,
Parts Unknown. Jerry was an established musician and producer with Waylon
Jennings and liked what he heard. He and Lynette began working together to
record demos of songs Jerry and others had written so they could shop them to
artists on Music Row. They also began working on their own projects.

FIRST RECORDING PROJECT TOGETHER

In 1994, they did their first independent album together, “Sweet ‘N Low,” a
collection of 10 easy-listening country songs sung by Lynette and produced by
Jerry (who also co-wrote four of the songs). The album featured Jerry and other
Waylon Jennings musicians known as The Waylors, Robby Turner (steel guitar),
Jimmy English (guitar) and Jeff Hale (drums). It also featured keyboards by Mike
Lawler (who played with James Brown, Steve Winwood and the Allman Brothers and
many others) and guitar by Mike Severs (who played for Dolly Parton, Rod
Stewart, Alabama, Eric Church, Olivia Newton-John, and a host of others).

CHRISTMAS WITH THE WAYLORS

Jerry & Lynette’s most popular shows turned out to be at Christmas, sharing
carols and traditional Christmas songs. So they decided to create a Christmas
album, which became “A Silk ‘N Steel Christmas” (“a silky voice and steel guitar
strings”) released in 2000.

Once again, Jerry and Robby Turner (who played with George Jones, Chet Atkins,
Loretta Lynn, Vince Gill and many others) played on this album, and it features
arrangements by Randy Kartchner (who has worked with Gladys Knight, The
Lettermen, The Osmonds, Marilyn McCoo, LaToya Jackson and many others).

SILK 'N STEEL CHRISTMAS CD

Jerry also called in some of his favorite legendary musician friends to help
create a magical Christmas sound. Silk ‘N Steel features guitar by Reggie Young
(who played with Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, George Strait, Merle Haggard and
hundreds of others) and sax and flute by Jim Horn (who played with the Beatles,
the Righteous Brothers, the Beach Boys, Elton John, Eric Clapton, the Carpenters
and hundreds of others).

This independent CD sold multiple runs through simple, grass-roots efforts of
family and friends. It resulted in their opportunity to perform all around
Tennessee and surrounding states.
