AUSTRALIAN TELEHEALTH GUIDELINES UPDATE

The telehealth guidelines in Australia were updated on September 1st 2023. As a
result of these changes, telehealth consults must include a real-time video or
phone call with a doctor. Form-based prescribing alone is no longer supported by
healthcare regulators in Australia.These changes were made by the Medical Board
of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)
to improve healthcare safety and quality for patients who prefer to engage with
healthcare services online.From September 1st we will still ask that you submit
an assessment form when completing an order, a doctor will review and if
appropriate you will be asked to book a time to speak with them briefly to
discuss your assessment answers and treatment. If approved, your order will be
prepared by our partner pharmacy and delivered to you.If appropriate, our
doctors will also be able to prescribe repeated supplies on your account after
your consult, so you may not need to speak to them each time you need your next
re-supply of medicine. *Subject to treatment type and your current
health.*Another major change within the guidelines is the ability for you to
request that your regular GP be notified when receiving treatment from a
telehealth service to keep them informed on the medicines you take. This is
completely optional and decided by you!Of course, you may have many questions

If approved, your script will be passed to our partner pharmacy, who will
dispense your medication



Express Delivery

Our pharmacy will then dispatch your order, via Australia Post, to your chosen

HOW DO YOU DELIVER MY ORDER?

All orders are delivered using Australia Post express parcel delivery. You can
track your parcel with the tracking number we send to you.

All parcels are delivered in plain, discreet packaging without any branding.



HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

You can complete an online consultation from the medication or condition page.
After completing the assessment, you can then complete your order.

Our doctor will then review your assessment. If approved, a prescription is
passed to our pharmacy team who will dispense and deliver your medication via
Australia Post. If for any reason your order is not approved, a full refund is
issued.


WILL I GET INFORMATION ABOUT THE TREATMENT?

At Simple Online Doctor, we aim to provide high quality and safe healthcare
online at a time that suits your needs. After you complete an online assessment
and place your order, you will be provided information about the treatment and
receive continued support from our patient care team.


WHAT ARE THE TREATMENTS WE OFFER?

Australian law prevents us from naming specific treatments under the condition
they are used for. Our doctors prescribe will prescribe treatments according to
your preferences and the latest professional prescribing guidelines.

All our treatment options and prices are shown after completing the free online
assessment.



HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?

We pride ourselves on getting you the treatments you need quickly. Generally,
all orders placed before 10 AM AEST on weekdays are reviewed and if approved,
processed for delivery on the same day. All orders placed after 10 AM are sent
the very next business day.

We use express delivery which remains the fastest delivery method in Australia.
After sending, we expect orders to arrive within 1-2 business days to major
cities and 3-5 business days for rural areas of Australia.

PERFECT
