challenge that really put our Core Values and FASNY Fundamentals to use. See how
our innovative students put their positivity, cooperation, critical thinking
skills, creativity, and more to the test all while having fun learning! Thank

Last week, the Nursery A class got a special treat from their friends in
Kindergarten B upstairs. The KB class created a book called "Ça n'existe pas"
and took it on a little book tour 📚 After showing off their finished product
they also took the time to read it to their NA classmates. What a fun way to
practice their public speaking and reading skills, and give the Nursery students
a glimpse into life in Kindergarten! #WeloveFASNY

Last week, we welcomed our friends at @edteq for a STEM Playdate in the
Innovation Lab at the Village Campus. During the afternoon, students in grades
4-8 had a chance to test out some exciting products we've recently added to our
labs like Z-Space, Veative, Ultimaker 3D Printing, Littlebits, and Pi-Top
Computers. A few of our faculty & staff members even got in on the action!
Thanks to TEQ for a fun hour, we can't wait to put our new tools to use.

Recently, M Cassagnes' grade 12 Spe HGSP class visited the Museum of Jewish
Heritage in New York City. While at the museum, the group viewed an exhibition
about Boris Lurie, a holocaust survivor who painted and wrote his memory of the
ghetto and the camps as a testimony for the younger generations; a full circle
moment as our young students learned directly from Boris many years later. This
visit was especially poignant as we celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month
during May. #WeloveFASNY
