At Staverton, we pride ourselves on being a school that serves its community wholeheartedly. We want every child not only to achieve their very best but also to know that they belong, providing an education for our children that will inspire, challenge and prepare them for the future. As Headteacher, there are three things that I’d like you to know about Staverton: First of all, when you walk into our school, you will see an enormous mural of a tree with hundreds of birds, all unique and important. It’s based on Jesus’ Parable of the Mustard Tree and a powerful reminder of our school’s vision to be a life-giving tree to our children. This vision shapes everything that we do. Secondly, Staverton aspires to be a ‘school without walls and ceilings’, where people feel able to be themselves but also helping adults and children alike to thrive. Staverton loves Books! We believe that the greatest gift that we can give children is to help them to become life-long readers. See our ‘reading for pleasure’ page for more information. We have a saying at Staverton: Every Day is an Open Day! So I invite you to explore this website and get in touch if you want to find out more. Take a look at our page of testimonials to see our welcoming ethos in action!
