Mr. Ailman has been the Chief Investment Officer of CalSTRS for 20 years. He
leads an investment staff of over 200 and oversees $300 billion+ AUM. Having
joined CalSTRS in 2000, he is one of the longest serving public CIOs in the
country.

He has served on several boards in the U.S. and U.K. such as ICGN, PRI, PPI and,
most recently, as the inaugural Chair of the SASB Investor Advisory Group. He is
currently the North American Chair of the “300” CIO Club and the Milken Global
Capital Markets Committee. He has received numerous awards and recognitions over
his career. In 2017 he received the inaugural Institutional Investor Magazine
Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2018, he was named the top CIO in the world by
Chief Investment Officer Magazine.

Mr. Ailman is a regular TV and radio guest and is frequently quoted in major
financial publications. He has a BA from UCSB and holds the Fundamentals of
Sustainability Accounting credential. He has been married for 37 years with
three adult daughters.

Jamie Allen is the founding Secretary General of the Asian Corporate Governance
Association (ACGA), an independent membership association carrying out original
research, advocacy and education on corporate governance in Asia since 1999. A
published author, he has more than 30 years of experience writing about Asian
business, finance, and economics. He is one of the main authors of Awakening
Governance: The evolution of corporate governance in China and CG Watch 2020 –
Future promise, two reports published by ACGA in July 2018 and May 2021
respectively.

His past public service roles include being a member of the Public Shareholders’
Group, formed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), sitting
on the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, and serving on the
Operations Oversight Committee of the Financial Reporting Council of Hong Kong.

Rodrigo Araujo Alves is the Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer for
Petrobras. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the
Federal University of Minas Gerais, a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Faculdade
Moraes Júnior Mackenzie Rio, an MBA in Economic and Financial Management from
the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, and an Executive Master’s Degree in Finances
(with honors) from HEC Paris. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the
State of Washington, United States; he holds a COSO Internal Control Certificate
from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is
Certified in IFRS (CertIFR) by the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants (ACCA). He also took courses in management and finances at INSEAD,
Chicago Booth, Singularity University, the Dom Cabral Foundation, the CFA
Institute, and MDT International. Alves has worked at Petrobras since 2007,
holding the position of Executive Manager of Accounting and Taxation since 2017.

Fiscal Council of other companies in the Petrobras group.

Lorenza Barsanti, 50, graduated in Chemical Engineering from University of Pisa
and, after a brief experience in university, has been working in the Snam Group
since 1999. After seven years of experience in the company metallurgical
laboratory, she served as HSE manager in the HSE department for two years. Since
2009 she has been working in the Sustainability Department with special
attention to reporting, the implementation and development of Integrated
Thinking and Reporting in Snam, and to stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Rajib Basu is a renowned Chartered Accountant and post Graduate Diploma holder
from the Indian Institute of Management with specialisation in Finance and
Valuation. He is also a Cost and Management Accountant from India.

With 24 years’ experience and a resume including Partner -KPMG and most recently
Partner- PwC, his sector experience includes Power and Utilities, Metal and
Mining, Consumer and Retail Sector, Pharma, IT and ITeS.

In his professional engagements, Mr. Basu works advises Audit Committees, CEOs
and Executive Management on risk management, financial control systems and
impact of governance on enterprise value. He specializes in advising on metrics,
systems and processes that support the strategy and structure of his clients. He
also interacts with various Chambers of Commerce and industry bodies on
contemporary topics in governance and Risk Management and enhancing enterprise
value.

He has been a Chevening Gurukul Fellow from the University of Oxford.

Darren Beatty is of New Zealand (NZ) Māori descent and has worked for Te Rūnanga
o Ngāi Tahu since May 2017. He is currently the Group Head Chief Financial
Officer and is responsible for the financial and performance management of the
Office of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, the legal function, the grants function,
business support and data & reporting. He is also responsible for the enhanced
monitoring function that oversees our Investment Managers who manage our $1.9b
asset on behalf of our 71,000+ members.

Darren’s key projects at the moment include the implementation of a new
evaluation framework to assess the impact of programmes on members, continuing
the integrated reporting journey, the adoption of NZ’s statement of service
performance accounting standard (PBE FRS-48) and a move to integrating climate
reporting into the company’s reporting landscape.

John Berrigan is the Director General in DG FISMA (Directorate-General for
Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union) of the
European Commission.

DG FISMA is responsible for EU-level policy making and legislative initiatives
with respect to the financial sector. In this context, John represents the
European Commission on the Economic and Financial Committee and the Financial
Services Committee, which report to EU Finance Ministers. He also represents the
Commission on the Financial Stability Board, which reports to G20 Finance
Ministers. He attends the European Systemic Risk Board and is a permanent
observer on the Single Resolution Board.

John has been a Commission official since the mid-1980s and has spent most of
that time working on financial-sector issues. He worked on preparations for the
introduction of the euro in 1999 and was secretary of the so-called Giovannini
Group, which produced reports, inter alia, on issues related to euro-denominated
debt issues and post-trading in EU securities markets in the early 2000s.

John has a masters degree in economics from University College Dublin. He is
married with two children.

Rudi Bless is the Chief Accounting Officer at Bank of America and leads the
Global Financial Control organization. GFC is responsible for a variety of
functions, including managing and executing legal entity reporting; interpreting
and applying accounting policy and standards; overseeing financial controls and
operational risk assessments; managing and maintaining financial data and
systems; managing general ledger and sub-ledger accounting; and tax activities.

Mr. Bless joined Bank of America in November 2014. Previously he was with Credit
Suisse AG (CS), where he held various roles over 12 years, most recently as
deputy chief financial officer and chief accounting officer. While at CS he led
a number of major initiatives, including managing the implementation of Basel 3
for capital and liquidity and a finance transformation with a focus on data,
systems and off-shoring. In addition, he has broad experience in financial and
regulatory accounting both from a policy and reporting standpoint. Prior to
joining CS, Bless spent 20 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York,
Frankfurt and Zurich. He was a partner for eight years and focused on clients in
the financial services area. Bless holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from
the University of Delaware.

Khrystyna Bochkay is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of
Miami (UM). She joined the faculty at UM in 2014 after completing her PhD in
Accounting at Rutgers University. Khrystyna holds a Bachelor of Science in
Mathematics and a Master of Science in Statistics from Ivan Franko National
University in L’viv, Ukraine.

Khrystyna’s research interests include corporate disclosures, capital markets,
sustainability, behavioral finance, forecasting and textual analysis. Her
doctoral dissertation focused on the usefulness and predictive ability of
textual information in annual corporate reports filed with the SEC. Khrystyna is
also working on research that explores the information content of and disclosure
strategies in a large sample of earnings conference calls and other corporate
disclosures.

Khrystyna’s research has appeared in major accounting journals. She often
attends and presents her work at leading accounting conferences and workshops in
the US and worldwide.

Mr. Bray is responsible for the Value Reporting Foundation’s relationships with
the major accounting firms in the context of driving integrated reporting

Chartered Accountant and Registered Company Auditor. Mr. Bray has been
associated with the IIRC since its inception, including as a member of the IIRC
Board of Directors (2017 to 2020). Prior to joining the IIRC management team,
Michael was Director of KPMG Australia’s Better Business Reporting Services
(2016-2020), and an audit partner of KPMG Australia between 1989 and 2016.

Michael continues as Professor of Practice (Integrated Reporting) at Deakin
University, Director – Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership within the
Deakin Integrated Reporting Centre, and Project Executive for the Australian
Business Reporting Leaders Forum.

Michael was the Executive Partner of KPMG’s Global, Asia Pacific and Australian

Erik Breen, Chair of the Framework Board, has the ambition to (re) connect the

Dr. Bridges is a Project Manager in Technical Operations, a continuation of the
role she held at the IIRC. She has been working towards the transition to a
comprehensive corporate reporting system with other international frameworks and
standard setters. Prior to this, she was a Lecturer at the University of
Auckland, New Zealand teaching accounting from introductory level to Masters.
She completed her PhD in 2019 on integrated reporting and has presented her
research at a number of international conferences.

Dr. Bridges is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and
CPA Australia and has had varied experience working as an accountant in New
Zealand as well as the UK. She is passionate about improving the relevance of
business reporting by producing concise, transparent and useful information for
decision making.

Yen-pei Chen is senior expert for corporate reporting and tax within ACCA’s
Professional Insights team. In this capacity, she convenes ACCA’s Global Forums

Standard Board (CDSB)’s Technical Working Group, and engages with policy-makers
at organisations including the EU Commission and the Organisation for Economic

Martina L. Cheung is President of S&P Global Market Intelligence, one of the

Simon Crowe is the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and joined ERM in January

Katie Schmitz Eulitt is a leader in the field of sustainability with 20+ years
of experience on four continents and nine countries. She has created business
solutions to address environmental and social challenges and opportunities
across a broad range of industries including renewable energy, forest
stewardship, water purification and other clean technologies.

Most recently, her work has focused on improving corporate transparency on
progress addressing environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and, in
particular, the provision of meaningful, true and balanced communication to
investors on the management of these factors – towards the goal of better
aligning capital with society’s changing needs and expectations. Ms. Schmitz
Eulitt was among the first staff members of the Sustainability Accounting
Standards Board (SASB) and, having co-founded SASB’s Investor Advisory Group in
2016, now leads that Group. She also manages relationships with stakeholders in
key APAC markets.

Ms. Schmitz Eulitt serves on the Advisory Council of Columbia University’s

Cornelia is Head of ESG and Sustainability at PAI Partners. She is a

Janine Guillot is Chief Executive Officer of the Value Reporting Foundation. As
CEO, her priorities are to increase use of Integrated Thinking Principles, the
Integrated Reporting Framework and the SASB Standards by companies and investors
around the world and to advance progress towards a globally accepted
comprehensive corporate reporting system. Ms. Guillot was CEO of SASB before
becoming CEO of the Value Reporting Foundation.

Prior to joining SASB, Ms. Guillot served as Chief Operating Investment Officer
for the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS). She has held
senior leadership positions at Barclays Global Investors and Bank of America. At
Barclays Global Investors, she served as Chief Operating Officer for BGI’s
European and Global Fixed Income businesses. At Bank of America, she served in
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer roles for retail and
commercial business units. A graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU),
she began her career as a technical accountant and auditor with Ernst & Young.

Jeffrey Hales teaches at the University of Texas at Austin, where he is the
Charles T. Zlatkovich Centennial Professor of Accounting. His research interests
center on accounting standard setting and regulation, individual decision
making, and behavioral finance, using techniques from applied game theory,
experimental economics, and psychology. His research has appeared in The
Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and
Economics, and the Journal of Financial Economics, among other journals. He is
currently serving a second term as an editor at Accounting Horizons, has
previously been an editor for Contemporary Accounting Research, and has served
on the editorial boards of several journals. Since 2018, he has served as the
Chair of the Standards Board at Sustainability Accounting Standards Board
(SASB), now part of the Value Reporting Foundation. In his role as Chair, he
oversees the agenda setting and due process associated with the SASB Standards
development and maintenance. Before serving on the Standards Board, he chaired

Mrs. Chng Sok Hui is the Chief Financial Officer of DBS Group. Prior to this

capacity, he covers a wide range of issues concerning sustainable finance which

Mr. Krumpelman leads the work of the Value Reporting Foundation’s special
interest group on Integrated Thinking & Strategy, which consists of around 40

about developing strategy across multiple capitals, learn from world leaders and
co-create a common view of integrated thinking that is globally relevant to help

He is also working for ABN AMRO in Amsterdam, as Global head of Business

Management team. With more than 20 years of experience in the banking sector he

Jonathan Labrey is Chief Policy Officer at the Value Reporting Foundation,
leading the organization’s influencing strategy with policymakers and
regulators. He has over 17 years of experience working in public policy,
corporate governance and regulation in the accountancy and corporate reporting
fields.

Mr. Labrey was responsible for global policy and strategy at the IIRC from
2012-2021. During this time, he developed a particular expertise in Asian
markets, having worked across the region while living in Singapore. He has
developed a deep understanding of capital market and corporate governance
issues, working closely with businesses, investors, regulators and accountancy
professional bodies.

Mr. Labrey led the public affairs and policy team at the ICAEW from 2004-10.
From 2010-2012 he was head of communications at the UK’s Financial Reporting

Erkki Liikanen began an initial three-year term as chair of the IFRS Foundation
Trustees in October 2018.

He took up the position after having served two seven-year terms as governor of
the Bank of Finland. Before joining the Finnish central bank, he served two
terms as a commissioner at the European Commission, first for Budget and then
for Enterprise and the Information Society.

Mr. Liikanen has worked internationally for many years. From 2004 to 2018, he
was a governor of the International Monetary Fund and a member of the Governing
Council of the European Central Bank. In 2012, Mr. Liikanen chaired a group of
experts set up by the European Commission to consider EU banking sector reforms
in the wake of the financial crisis. The group’s recommendations are known as
the ‘Liikanen report’.

His career began in 1972 when, at the age of 21, he was elected as the
youngest-ever representative to the parliament of Finland. During his 18 years
there, Mr. Liikanen served as Finland’s minister of finance (from 1987 to 2009)
and as the head of the Finnish mission to the European Union at the ministry for
foreign affairs (from 1990 to 1994).

Mr. Liikanen is an economist by training. He holds a masters degree in Political
Science (Economics) from the University of Helsinki. He also holds honorary
doctorates from the University of Technology, Finland (2003), Aalto University
School of Economics, Finland (2011) and University of Eastern Finland (2019).

Prof. Dr. Hakan Lucius is Head of Corporate Sustainability at the EIB, the
European Union’s bank. Dr Lucius possesses more than 20 years of experience in

Academically, he holds a Ph.D., a M.Sc., and an MBA from INSEAD.

Dr. Lucius is Professor of Finance in parallel to his career at the EIB,

Granville Martin is the Director of Policy and Outreach for the Americas for the
Value Reporting Foundation where he leads engagement with American regulators,
corporates and trade associations.

Prior to joining Value Reporting Foundation, Mr. Martin was Senior Vice
President for Policy & Advocacy and General Counsel at the Society for Corporate
Governance, where he led the Society’s advocacy efforts related to corporate
governance, securities law and regulation and other related issues. He also led
the Society’s ESG-related efforts including assisting members in navigating the
increased demands for disclosure and engagement, creating dialogue among
issuers, investors and other stakeholders and representing Society views in a
variety of forums.

Prior to joining the Society, he was a Managing Director of Sustainable Finance
for JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he led a range of ESG-related initiatives,
including working with investment and commercial banking units to manage
environmental and social risks, engaging with clients and external stakeholders
and advising the senior management and the Board. Key sectors included oil and
gas, mining, timber, prison services, firearms, and other sectors with
significant environmental and/or social impact.

After graduating law school, he joined the Office of the Counsel to Governor
George Pataki of New York working on environmental issues such as wastewater
treatment, New York City watershed protection and green buildings. He also
worked on local government and mental health issues and negotiated with the
State Legislature. After leaving the Pataki Administration, Mr. Martin
represented the Financial Services Forum prior to joining JPMorgan Chase in
2005.

Hilary Maxson has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Schneider Electric

Simon Messenger is a Senior Advisor to the Value Reporting Foundation for their

and CEO of 1Planet Advisory, a sustainability consultancy. He has held a number
of senior roles in the broader field of sustainability reporting and sustainable

He currently also works as a technical advisor to the United Nations Environment

Deborah Ng is Head of Responsible Investing at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension

advising clients across a broad range of sectors on how to integrate their

D.Phil. on the history of the East India Company and graduated with First Class

Sandra Peters leads the Financial Reporting Policy Group at CFA Institute where
she oversees a team responsible for tracking all financial reporting issues of
interest to investors. She serves as spokesperson for CFA Institute to financial

Securities and Exchange Commission, and conducts outreach to other professional
organizations and the media to discuss and promote financial reporting policies.

Sandy has an extensive and well-balanced background as a user advocate,

Corporate Controller at MetLife Inc. Prior to joining MetLife, she was a partner

Spencer leads the corporate disclosure workstream at the IMP. He is a chartered
accountant with expertise on the measurement of corporate sustainability and
integration with financial reporting. During his time at the IMP, he was part of
the core team that facilitated a group of 5 standard setters that published a
statement of intent for comprehensive corporate reporting and a subsequent paper
that described reporting on enterprise value, which included a prototype
climate-related disclosures standard for investors.

Spencer has been on partial leave from the IMP since April 2021 as he has
supported the IFRS Foundation as it has explored the establishment of the ISSB.
At the IFRS Foundation, he helped lead the Technical Readiness Working Group,
which created a set of technical recommendations for consideration by the ISSB
to give it a running start. Spencer has had a particular focus on climate and
enhancing the prototype climate-related disclosures standard.

Elizabeth Seeger joined KKR in 2009 to help oversee the consideration of

to joining Salesforce in 2013, Amy was Executive Vice President and General
Counsel of Univar Solutions Inc. Previously, she was Senior Vice President and
Deputy General Counsel at Expedia Inc. Amy also practiced law at Cravath, Swaine
& Moore and at Perkins Coie LLP.

Amy currently serves on the board of directors of BSA (The Software Alliance)
and Habitat for Humanity International, the board of trustees of Lehigh
University, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She has a J.D.
from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Wellesley College.

Angela is responsible for the advancement and implementation of UBS’s groupwide
sustainability strategy. This includes leading strategic projects such as the
Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB), Net Zero, and Banking for Impact (BFI)
– a partnership between Harvard, Impact Institute, ABN AMRO, DBS, Danske and
UBS- to define the rules for impact measurement and valuation (IMV) for the
sector.

Having joined UBS in 2005, Angela has held a variety of roles across the bank
including six years in a client facing capacity as Head of HNW and UHNW clients
in Toronto, Canada, and most recently, as Head of Impact Investing Global Chief
Investment Office. She holds a degree in Kinesiology (University of Western
Ontario) and an MBA from McGill University.

Angela lives in Zurich and in her spare time enjoys exploring the peaks of
Switzerland and Austria on her split board.

Dr. Ryohei Yanagi is the CFO of Eisai, one of the largest pharmaceutical
companies in Japan and a Visiting Professor at Waseda University, where he
focuses on ESG and Value Creation as well as Impact Measurement. Dr. Yanagi
earned a Ph.D. in economics from Kyoto University in Japan.

Now he is a member of working group A in connection with G7 Impact Task Force
mandated by UK government in 2021.

Under his leadership and in collaboration with Harvard Business School, Eisai
disclosed its “Employment Impact” as the 1st case of IWAI (Impact Weighted
Accounts Initiative) Japan via Eisai Value Creation Report 2021.

He has authored and published many books and articles on the topics of ESG,
impact measurement, corporate governance, finance, and investor relations,
including “Corporate Governance and Value Creation in Japan” published by
Springer, in 2018 in English globally.

Ms. Png Chin Yee joined Temasek in July 2011 and is currently Deputy Chief

As Head of Sustainable Finance, Zeniya-san has been responsible for ESG
integration into the whole AUM of The Dai-ichi Life Insurance, which is about 38
trillion yen. She joined The Dai-ichi Life in 2013. Before her current role she
was responsible for engagements and proxy voting to promote stewardship
activities after The Dai-ichi agreed with Japan’s stewardship code in 2014.
Before joining The Dai-ichi, she was Deputy President of a regional bank in
Japan, CFO of the listed company, and on the Boards of Directors of the
companies owned by a PE Fund. She also had a variety of experiences such as the
working members of METI, MOF, MOE of Japan. She is a Board member of GSG NAB
Japan and is also Corporate Director of RENOVA, Inc., which is a renewable

As a Senior Advisor at the Value Reporting Foundation, Dr. Jing Zhang is working
with the SASB research team on developing an overarching climate research
strategy for the SASB Standards through conducting relevant evidence reviews and
targeted market engagements. Previously, he was the Global Head of Quantitative
Research at Moody’s Analytics, where he oversaw research and analytics globally
including the effort to quantify the financial impacts of climate change. Jing
has numerous published books and research papers on financial risk including the
forthcoming book by Risk Publication, “Climate Change: Managing the Financial
Risk and Funding the Transition”. Additionally, Jing serves as the Board Chair
of Hack the Hood, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting economic
mobility for the under-represented youth of color. Jing has a Ph.D. from the
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from
Tulane University.
