WELCOME



The Organizing Committee of the Mediterranean Accounting Conference (TMAC) is
pleased to announce a call for papers for its inaugural conference, to be held
in Protaras/Ayia Napa, Cyprus, on June 23 – 25, 2025. This new conference seeks
to bring together leading academics from around the world to present and discuss
cutting-edge research in accounting. We invite submissions in all areas of
accounting and closely related fields.

The Mediterranean Accounting Conference is co-organized by Tel Aviv University
and the University of Cyprus and will take place at the Grecian Park Hotel in
the seaside resort of Protaras/Ayia Napa.

We are pleased to announce that the invited speakers of the conference are:

 * Dechow, Patricia, University of Southern California
 * Hemmer, Thomas, Rice University
 * Sapra, Haresh, University of Chicago
 * Shivakumar, Lakshmanan, London Business School
 * Sloan, Richard, University of Southern California
 * Van der Stede, Win A, London School of Economics

Paper selection will be based on novelty and the incremental contribution to
accounting literature. Submitted papers must not have been previously published.
