If you’re looking for an alternative to camper van conversion that doesn’t
compromise the load space, depth, or height of your van for everyday use, our VW
T5 / T6 Kombi Bed system does exactly that.
You can choose the platform which offers 2-tier storage, and add the deluxe
mattress for 5-star sleep. The modular system allows you to upgrade by adding
the steel-sliding tray, with or without an optional biKing station, or select
the full package with the cooKing pod. That’s the real beauty of our system: it

COOKING POD & STEEL SLIDER SYSTEM
The steel-slider is manufactured from steel as the name suggests. It has a
powder-coated finish, is very durable to stand the test of time, and does not
require periodic treatment, unlike other plywood systems on the market.
The cooKing pod is manufactured in light-weight birch plywood with a laminated
finish, as well as robust carrying handles with a soft close drawer and side
cupboard. It only weighs 17kg, so it’s easily lifted by one person.

I would highly recommend the Van king bed and slider system. Murry and his team
are super professional and explain how everything works brilliantly. The new
system allows me to use my new Transporter for both work and pleasure. I can
easily swap from work mode to weekend away in just a few minutes. The bed system
is so easy to set up and the mattress is super comfortable. We have not yet had
the opportunity to stay overnight but we had our maiden drive out and enjoyed a
nice cup of tea on the beach and the slide out table worked a treat. Looking
forward to many more weekends away. Fully recommended don’t bother looking at
other cheaper alternatives just go to van king.

“I made the 200mile journey up to get Murray’s VAN-KING bed-system fitted
yesterday, and pressed straight into use camping up on the moors above Bury!
Can’t praise the product highly enough, great design and build quality and does
not compromise the space in our T5.1 Sportline Kombi. Spent ages chatting to
Murray, a really lovely guy and a pleasure to do business with. Absolutely no
hesitation in recommending him”.
2024 Update: The bed system has been in regular use since 2019 when I wrote the
above review. Still in perfect condition, comfortable and quick to setup. As I
use my Transporter for fishing, it’s been great having lots of secure, out of
sight storage under the bed too. I have no hesitation in recommending the
Van-King bed system.

Having researched the entire UK market and looked in detail at all the options
for a T6.1 SWB Kombi bed, the Van King System is without doubt the premium and
number one choice out there. Maximum flexibility and practicality, extremely
well engineered, top quality finish and great customer service. Transformed my
van, but finishing touch was to complement the bed system with VAN King fully
tailored luxury carpet mats in the rear, middle and front. Great business, great
products, top quality all round and reassuringly not over priced. Well done
