Under the Umbrella is on Ute, Goshute, Paiute, and Shoshone land. Acknowledging
and honoring the traditional stewards of this land is important, but supporting
the Indigenous communities whose lands have been stolen and colonized requires
more than land acknowledgement. Each month, 5% of sales from Kaitlyn's "Staff
Picks" will be donated to the Carry the Water Garden, an Indigenous healing
garden in Salt Lake City. We encourage our white customers to support this and
other Indigenous-led organizations here and around the so-called United States.

COMMUNITY CURATED SHELF

Art Access increases accessibility to the arts through opportunities for artists
with disabilities and education for community and cultural organizations. Our
programming bridges gaps in education, professional development, representation,
and collaboration among artists with disabilities. Our trainings provide
knowledge and actionable guidance for community and cultural institutions to
increase accessibility in their physical spaces and programs. Art Access
believes art is vital to the human experience and understands individuals do not
live single-issue lives. We work to present the diversity of disability
perspectives and to encourage equitable cultural and arts experiences for
artists and patrons across abilities.


5% of funds will be donated to Art Access to support the creative endeavors of
disabled artists contributing to Art Access’ Partners and Artist Working Group
programs.

TRANSIT & PARKING

There is free two-hour parking along 200 South and 500 West near the store.
Parking enforcement regularly patrols the area, so please plan accordingly.
There is a small, free visitor parking lot behind the store, accessible from 500
West. There are two accessible parking spots behind the store, as well. 



We are located just south of the Old GreekTown TRAX Station on the Blue Line
(this is the very western edge of the free fare zone). We are also around the
corner from the Salt Lake Central Station on 600 West.



There is a green bike station immediately east of our front doors and a public
bike rack to the west of our front doors.
