ALFA Mars is an international group of scientists, engineers, communicators, and
volunteers that share the common goal of finding life on Mars before humans land
there.

ALFA Mars is supported by the Mars Society.

MARS LIFE PIONEER

ALFA Mars is today the only organization worldwide acting to seek an active
biosphere on Mars, before human arrive.



ALFA Mars will send an instrument to robotically concentrate and purify genetic
polymers, including alien DNA analogues, from the large quantity of Martian
water that must be remotely mined before the first crewed mission.



The concentrated genetic polymers will be analyzed on-site using modern
analytical instruments.
