ERROR: THE FILLET/CHAMFER COULD NOT BE CREATED AT THE REQUESTED SIZE.

Error: The fillet/chamfer could not be created at the requested size.
Try adjusting the size, deselecting some of the edges (try disabling Tangent
Chain), or using multiple separate operations.

 

Im not sure how to fix it 

I have tried disabling Tangent Chainbut it didnt work 
Is it because the size of the object too small?

If you post your file so we can have a look at it we can probably figure it out.
To do that, go to the file menu

and export your file to your computer then simply drag it into the file box on
the post.

 

Without seeing your file I will have a go at explaining it.

 

Chamfer and Fillet have certain parameters that Fusion needs in order to
calculate the actual final shape. The

most likely reason it will fail is if you are trying to use a fillet that is too
big for the space available. Chamfer

works in a similar way but is straight instead of round. Also you need to take
into account what the actual

geometry you are asking it to shape for you. The radius of corners and curves
also make a difference in the

calculations that Fusion has to make.

 

From what I can see, you are using a Fillet of 1mm. How thick is the material
extrusion? If it is less than 1mm

it will automatically fail as you are asking it to create something bigger than
the object is. A Chamfer will also

fail in this instance if it is a 45 degree chamfer as Fusion will try to go 1mm
back from the edge and 1mm down

the material. If you are using the distance and angle method or distance and
distance method it may work but

you have to get the distances right.

 

I don't know how wide your object is, but if it is a piece of jewelry I would
hazard a guess at about 50-100mm

wide. If that is the scale then the curves you are using are very tight and this
may also be the reason Fusion is

failing. You are asking it to calculate a tight curve around some tight curves -
Fusion may just throw up it's

pixels and say too hard.

 

Is the displayed screen shot one single line you are trying to fillet or a
chain? If it is one single line it is very tight.

Again, it is hard to tell without the file to open and have a look at.

 

One way you might be able to fix this might be to make the piece bigger, create
the desired features then scale

the whole thing down to the size you want. This may also not work as Fusion
might not be able to calculate the

scale but it is worth a shot.

an stl file won't do us much good.  we need the fusion file.  export our model
as a .f3d file and attach that.

 

most likely the curvature of the edge your trying to fillet is of poor quality.
have you put a curvature comb on it to see?
