Governor Igbinedion faces mounting criticisms in Edo State but his supporter
dismisses his critics out of hand



For Lucky Igbinedion, governor of Edo State , these are trying times. The
governor is currently facing allegations of financial impropriety, wasteful
spending and incompetence made by a number of his political opponents in Edo
State . The opponents, Albert Legogie, former deputy president of the senate,
Air Iyare, a retired civil servant and Odigie Oyegun, former governor of the
state, are alleging that the state has become worse, as a result of lack of
vision and poor management of the state's finances by Igbinedion.
