CAMP EDMO EXPERIENCE

At Camp EDMO, Pre-K through 8th graders experience the adventure of summer camp
while engaging in hands-on activities that unleash their inner maker, scientist,
artist, and coder — all in a collaborative, inclusive environment that
cultivates wonder and a knack for exploration.

assistance opportunities, and more than 30 campsites, we are on a quest to make
summertime learning fun, engaging, and accessible.

THE EDMO METHOD
‍

The EDMO Method is at the heart of all things EDMO. Collaboratively designed
with a team of experts, including the UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center,
it is our very own SEL framework and our approach to educating the whole child —
mind, body, and heart. By incorporating scientifically proven social and
emotional learning (SEL) practices into our engaging science, technology,
engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) curriculum; we expand the boundaries
of learning and give kids the opportunity to learn and make mistakes in a safe
environment.

This was my daughter's first week of EDMO camp and she LOVED it! The well
conceived and executed lessons, engaging instructors, along with the small,
supportive class community made for the perfect recipe for success.

is fostered AND where the staff can keep social difficulties (arising from

EDMO is more than just camp: it's science, art, outdoor playtime, creativity,
and great summer fun - all rolled into one. Plus, the staff and counselors are
amazing. The counselors and camp director were genuinely interested in getting

her over.

with districts, schools and community organizations to create year-round,
custom, in-person and virtual programs that seamlessly weave together science,
technology, art, and mathematics (STEAM) and social and emotional learning (SEL)
experiences for kids in grades Pre-K through 8.
