Download i4 EV NET PDF OUR STORY We are born out of a close understanding of the startups' needs experienced during the Joint Mentoring Program between NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore and FITT, IIT Delhi. The Joint Mentoring Program, started in 2018, and met the mentoring needs of Startups being incubated at FITT and NSRCEL as well as of those from other institutes. Over a period of two years with close to 100 Startups going through the program, we identified Business Model Validation, Funding readiness & Scale-up support as areas where we needed to support startups more closely. This led to the creation of i4 Mentors Foundation with a structure that would better position the organisation to meet the needs of Startups. We aspire to be a network of high calibre mentors with deep domain and functional exposure from institutions of repute, passionate about enabling startups on their transformative journey. WHAT WE DO We help startups create an enabling organisation for achieving the founders' mission. This includes helping validate the Business Model and and putting the organisation on the path of a Scalable Business that makes it “Funding ready”. We help in creating a Compelling Value Proposition, Selecting right Markets, flagging and strengthening the value creating and support processes, and in Legal and Brand protection. We also enable funding through our network of Angel Investors and Family Offices. HOW DOES IT WORK We hold a monthly meeting at IIT Delhi (or online now) where Start-ups present their concept and mentoring needs to the Mentors Board. * Mentors board is a group of IITD and IIMB Alums * Based on start-ups presentation, Mentors volunteer to help. Effectively mentors self select themselves to help a start-up. * Start-up and Mentors work with each other based on their mutual convenience * Startup progress is reviewed every month by the entire board of i4 mentors * Startups seeking funding are referred to the evaluation team for investment. OUR SERVICES * Open Mentoring Session - Starter session that seeks to validate Business Model and recommends the Next steps * Structured Mentoring Program - Mentors help fine-tune the Business Model, Validate key Processes, help in developing the Pitch Deck and enabling Industry Access. * Seed and Growth Funding - Our network of Angel Investors and Family Offices provide funding support.
