ADRIAAN MOVED FROM AMSTERDAM TO LAS PALMAS

Here are some tips you probably can use when visiting or moving to Las Palmas.
There are a lot reasons to go to this nice Island, like the temperature,
distance to the Netherlands, the nice beaches, your great friend is living
there, you want to see the mountains or you just want to escape your current
environment.

WHY LAS PALMAS?

Or Gran Canaria for that matter. Watch this video. There are different areas for
different activities. I live in Las Palmas which is in the North of Gran
Canaria. It has less sun and has some more rain, but the locals are all living
there. Nearly half (45.9%) of the people of the island and 18.35% of all
inhabitants of the Canary Islands live in this city wiki. The island is about
1500 km2. Not too big, compared to the Dutch island Goeree-Overflakkee with its
6 times smaller size of 260 km2.

Las Palmas is the largest city of the EU lying outside the European Continent.
It is located in the northeast part of the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, about
150 kilometres off the northwestern coast of Africa within the Atlantic Ocean.
