Murat Hero Member Offline Activity: 1708 Merit: 691 Buy $BGL before it's too late! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update I contacted their support and here is their reply - Hello, Thank you for contacting Coinbase. As Coinbase experiments with expanding into more markets, there will be varying levels of support provided. Initially, Coinbase will only offer self-help customer support in your region. For more information on what support is provided by region, please visit the following help pages: International Support for Coinbase International Support for Coinbase Pro Thanks, Coinbase Support and I replied how can I self-support issues like this? I am using Coinbase for years never had similar issues. And I got another notification. Hi there, Thanks for the response! Wed love to help you further, however, this case has been closed and cannot be reopened. Please submit a new ticket to our online support form here for continued assistance: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/emails/new Thanks, Coinbase Support This is Crazy. I don't use coinbase often I thought I can trust them with small amounts they are not worth it. Crypto space is fu** up with people like this. Now I need to wait 72 Hours for using Coinbase. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- marcotheminer Legendary Offline Activity: 1694 Merit: 1029 Newbies may msg me! If you're legit, things work. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coinbase really sucks when it comes to support, deposit's late? Tough luck, just wait it out.. You need to do the ID verification pretty sure they won't let you bypass it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mk4 Legendary Offline Activity: 1834 Merit: 2304 🔐 NotYourKeys.org 🔑 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They want photo ID to complete this withdrawal Right now but I don't want to provide the photo ID. You mind telling us why you used Coinbase in the first place if you're not willing to submit KYC information? Not trying to be an ass here, but I thought identification details is mandatory with Coinbase if you're making buy/sell offers; and that big exchanges like Coinbase have been known to be demanding KYC information in the first place. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- figmentofmyass Legendary Offline Activity: 1652 Merit: 1481 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As per email: We have delayed this withdrawal for 72 hours to ensure it is authorized activity. You can view the affected withdrawal here. If you initiated this withdrawal, no action is required and your withdrawal will automatically complete after 72 hours. Meaning the transaction will automatically complete without doing nothing on your part or I just missed the email about they asked you to comply with KYC? that's my reading too. they're giving the account holder 72 hours to prevent an unauthorized withdrawal. it sounds like KYC is only required if he wants to skip the waiting period. You need to do the ID verification pretty sure they won't let you bypass it. that's definitely true for US and EU residents---KYC is required just to use them as a hosted bitcoin wallet. i'm not sure about other jurisdictions though. it sounds like KYC still isn't required in the OP's case. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AdolfinWolf Legendary Offline Activity: 1792 Merit: 1409 peace and love, peace and love -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- that's definitely true for US and EU residents---KYC is required just to use them as a hosted bitcoin wallet. i'm not sure about other jurisdictions though. it sounds like KYC still isn't required in the OP's case. I highly doubt that. I'm pretty sure KYC is required (for trading at least!) for all jurisdictions Coinbase operates in. Imagine how easily abusable that would otherwise be? Residential IP of X country with an EMI/throwaway PP account? Found this: Coinbase is a licenced crypto exchange based in the U.S. A full list of the licenses it holds is here. All that the exchange requires to open an account is a full name, an email address and a password. While this means that anyone from anywhere in the world can store, send and receive cryptocurrencies using a basic Coinbase account, ID verification is required to buy and sell cryptocurrency in the 33 countries it supports. Makes sense that you don't need KYC to use them as a wallet (I'm assuming this is also the case in EU/US jurisdictions (?)). What doesn't make sense is why they would ask OP for KYC if above is the case... Hmm. Something must've been triggered i guess? (weird IP login or anything of the kind?) Or Coinbase is just messing with OP to get him to verify his KYC info... They want photo ID to complete this withdrawal Right now but I don't want to provide the photo ID. It sounds like he's simply using coinbase as a wallet, although, now that i think about it, that's quite weird? Why would you first receive BTC on your coinbase wallet adress, only to then send it to electrum? Just use electrum in the future. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- figmentofmyass Legendary Offline Activity: 1652 Merit: 1481 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- that's definitely true for US and EU residents---KYC is required just to use them as a hosted bitcoin wallet. i'm not sure about other jurisdictions though. it sounds like KYC still isn't required in the OP's case. I highly doubt that. I'm pretty sure KYC is required (for trading at least!) for all jurisdictions Coinbase operates in. it's definitely required for trading. the distinction i was making is that it's also required for receiving/sending cryptocurrency, in some jurisdictions at least. i thought it was required everywhere, but after seeing this thread i tried to verify that. all i can find are these support articles aimed at USA and EU customers: maybe there is more comprehensive info elsewhere and KYC is mandatory everywhere. or maybe coinbase is taking the position that geolocation is good enough outside of USA and EU ranges. not for trading but just for wallet services. What doesn't make sense is why they would ask OP for KYC if above is the case... Hmm. Something must've been triggered i guess? (weird IP login or anything of the kind?) Or Coinbase is just messing with OP to get him to verify his KYC info... if they haven't enforced mandatory KYC for hosted wallet services in OP's country yet, this may be a soft method of getting people to comply before issuing a hard requirement. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- logfiles Copper Member Legendary Offline Activity: 1092 Merit: 1020 Guard Your Bitcoins Jealously -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just curious... OP what made you to opt for coinbase? Is it because you probably bought some crypto through it? If yes, then am wondering why the wouldn't ask you to verify at first when you where trading your fiat for crypto? Potato Chips Hero Member Offline Activity: 1834 Merit: 526 Social Credit: -666 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have previously sent to an address in which you are in control, you may wanna try this but keep in mind that canceling would reset the 72H. or maybe testing with a small amount would do if you got some left. I recommend the address which you have used the most. If you DID authorize the transaction .... OR 3. Use the Cancel button to cancel the transaction if you no longer wish to withdraw or send. You can create a new transaction to an email or digital currency address that you have sent to previously better get out after this has been resolved if you're not willing to do KYC especially if you're just using them as a wallet. ....OR 2. From the Coinbase website, use the "Accelerate Withdrawal" button to complete ID verification, including a photo taken of your face. This step must be completed to accelerate every single delayed withdrawal or send, despite having an approved ID upload and selfie. Once completed, your transaction will be sent. I've never seen such small amounts being restricted for unauthorized activity, it seems pointless. Did you use the same device to initiate the withdraw, or was it a new device? It's a decent strategy to have to prevent hacks, but it's too intrusive, a simple email authentication or google authentication access code would have been a lot better and easier to deal with. If your using them as just a wallet, probably get out while you still can. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steamtyme Legendary Offline Activity: 1470 Merit: 1997 Betnomi.com Sportsbook, Casino and Poker -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Man that sucks. I feel for yah, at least your withdrawal will process after the 3 day waiting period. Did they have anything like this in their terms that you are aware of? Definitely get off Coinbase, I never used them, when I did pretty sure they wanted KYC upfront so I don't think I ever went anything further than signing up. Hilarious, if you are sending to a new address... because no one uses different addresses . I recently got he kick in the ass I needed to secure my coins more diligently, and avoid businesses handling them as much as possible. Pretty much from now on unless I'm comfortable never seeing the coins again, they're not going on a platform that can hijack control from me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- timerland Hero Member Offline Activity: 1358 Merit: 588 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They want photo ID to complete this withdrawal Right now but I don't want to provide the photo ID. Not trying to be an ass here, but I thought identification details is mandatory with Coinbase if you're making buy/sell offers; and that big exchanges like Coinbase have been known to be demanding KYC information in the first place. All withdrawals require KYC Coinbase large exchange so it is natural that we need KYC, withdrawals are delayed 72 hours maybe there is an unusual activity security Coinbase is getting tougher so withdrawals are frozen and try verification with your original photo. No, I've used Coinbase for a limited time (just to send and receive 3-4 transactions over a week), and I wasn't forced to perform KYC, or anything really. Just needed my phone number, name and emails, and then I was able to send and receive transactions (I think I received like 0.3 BTC and sent it away) and had no issues. I believe you only need KYC when you start dealing with the fiat site of Coinbase which is just not worth it at all. Man that sucks. Yah pretty much I read op as I want to hide in the shadows. At op either send a real id or stop complaining. You simply need to understand coinbase is like a bank and needs real ids in many countries. So if you dont want to id yourself dont and wait 72 hours. See if they force you to identify yourself after the time is up. Maybe they will maybe they wont. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I see BTC as the super highway and alt coins as taxis and trucks needed to move transactions. My experience with them was 2 years or so ago I think, and it was actually fine. I want to say 2018 sometime. Can't remember exactly what the circumstances were. I believe I was wanting to buy coins, or they had a promo. I'm not U.S based so it could have had something to do with that. It's been so long I can't remember for sure the what or why. It definitely wasn't just to use their wallet or anything like that. Reading the first part of your post, that seems more inline with what I checked them out for. They want photo ID to complete this withdrawal Right now but I don't want to provide the photo ID. If that's the requirement then take ID at the door, not when people try to leave. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mk4 Legendary Offline Activity: 1834 Merit: 2304 🔐 NotYourKeys.org 🔑 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It sounds like he's simply using coinbase as a wallet, although, now that i think about it, that's quite weird? The only reason I could think of, is probably OP used Coinbase so the transaction would be free(off-chain, Coinbase<->Coinbase). That, or OP immediately realized that Electrum is the way to go instead of a centralized wallet. Anyway, lesson learned for him. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COINBASE ACCELERATE WITHDRAWAL WITH PHOTO ID Posted by: brushmacy1946.blogspot.com Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191821.0 Share this post RELATED POSTS * Anekudu Telugu Movie Download In Movierulz * Blade Runner 2049 2017 Hindi Dubbed Download 480p * Aigiri Nandini Kannada Song Free Download Mp3 * Shirdi Sai Baba Tamil Songs Download Free * Blind Willie Johnson Dark Was The Night Mp3 Download * D Link Dwa 160 Driver Download * Ati Es1000 Driver Windows 7 Download * Trials Of Apollo The Tyrant's Tomb Epub Free Download 0 RESPONSE TO "COINBASE ACCELERATE WITHDRAWAL WITH PHOTO ID" POST A COMMENT Newer Post Older Post Home Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom) IKLAN ATAS ARTIKEL IKLAN TENGAH ARTIKEL 1 IKLAN TENGAH ARTIKEL 2 IKLAN BAWAH ARTIKEL POSTINGAN POPULER * Coinbase Accelerate Withdrawal With Photo Id Copyright 2021 Brush Macy1946 Diese Website verwendet Cookies von Google, um Dienste anzubieten und Zugriffe zu analysieren.
