Ambassadors as they prepared to journey to farms across Canada. The overseas
work programme is an instrumental initiative that fosters partnerships with our
global neighbours and provides Jamaican men and women with much-needed jobs. I

Turning Commitment into Action! The No One Left Behind policy is in full swing
as we continue interviews and assessments for our farm workers. From
psychometric evaluations to numeracy and literacy tests, we’re ensuring
candidates are ready, capable, and supported. We’ve implemented improved tools,
such as updated forms that capture test results and highlight areas for
development. This ensures that everyone is given an opportunity—whether through
successful interviews, guidance toward remedial programs, or access to
micro-business grants. This is the modernization of the Overseas Employment
Program in action—commitment made, commitment fulfilled, and even more to come!

Southeast Clarendon Road & Water Update 🚧 As part of ongoing efforts to improve
road conditions and address water challenges, work is progressing in Chateau,
Alley and Mitchell Town, with work set to begin in Rocky Point tomorrow. MP
Charles Jr. and the National Water Commission remain dedicated to alleviating
the water shortage, sustaining the temporary water trucking system to support
our communities. Over 70,000 gallons of water was trucked to New Bowens
yesterday, with a similar amount on its way to Halse Hall today. Thank you for

Road work update: The rain temporarily stalled the road work, but we are back on
track this week in areas such as Alley, Mitchell Town, Chateau and the Free Town
to Sandy Bay area. These vital improvements will significantly enhance road
safety and accessibility for the entire community. We are grateful to all
residents and motorists for their patience during this time and kindly remind
everyone to drive carefully through these zones for their own safety and the
safety of the work crews. Additionally, the preparatory work in Rocky Point has

Road & Water Update for Southeast Clarendon: We’re making significant strides
with road development, working on 10 roads across the areas of Southeast
Clarendon, including major repairs and patching in various communities. Notably,
rehabilitation is underway on three farm roads as part of recovery efforts
following Hurricane Beryl. On the water front, the NWC and MP Charles Jr. have
implemented a temporary solution to truck water into affected communities until
the mechanical issues at the New Bowens water station are fully resolved. We
remain committed to ensuring the well-being of our residents and thank everyone
for their patience as roadwork commences across the constituency to improve
accessibility and enhance infrastructure, ensuring long-term benefits for all.
