<p style="text-align: justify;">The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup shall run as a Pro-Am Cup comprising 2 categories for the 2023 season - Professional & Amateur - both running alongside on the same grid.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● <u>Professional</u> - A grid strength of 10 riders composed of the top 3 riders from the GT Cup 2022 Season and an additional 7 riders who have finished in the top 3 in any other 2
Wheeler Racing Cup / Series / National Championship under the affiliation of the FMSCI.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><b>8. Force Majeure</b><br>
</p>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● The organisers (Royal Enfield and JK Tyres) shall not be liable for complete or partial failure of the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2023, hereunder if caused by force majeure
events, for instance, due to an act of God, fire, flood, earthquake, epidemic, explosion, war, whether declared or undeclared, strikes or lockouts or acts of government or any events beyond the control of the organisers.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● Any suspension for the reasons under this paragraph shall be limited to the period during which the force majeure event subsists and the organisers at their sole discretion shall
decide on the revised schedule/alternate arrangements for the event and the same shall be intimated (via e-mail/SMS/call etc) to the riders.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● However if the event is cancelled because of reasons stated under this clause no additional charges/liability shall be levied on the organiser and both Royal Enfield and JK Tyres shall
stand absolved of all their respective obligations or liabilities for performance of the event. Also, in the case of cancellation of the event for force majeure reasons, any/all charges paid by the riders shall be refunded back. The
team of organisers shall get in touch with the riders and confirm on the same.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><b>9. Refunds / Cancellation</b><br>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● All money collected is non-refundable.</p>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● Upon cancellation by the rider, there shall be no refund of the amount paid which includes entry fee or rider selection fee or both.</p>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● If the event is cancelled / suspended for reasons of force majeure, provisions of clause 8 shall prevail.</p>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;"><b>These terms and conditions shall be governed in accordance with the Laws of India and all disputes in relation to these T&Cs shall be resolved by the competent court of Delhi.</b>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">11.1 Data Protection - The Rider by registering is giving its express consent to Royal Enfield and its representatives for using it's personal details like (name, contact number, state
of residence etc) for giving information(including but not limited to) related to the Event and for promotional purposes across media and also to be approached by Royal Enfield for purposes as may be reasonably related hereto.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">11.2 Questions/Queries - For any questions/queries on the Event, the Riders may directly message on Royal Enfield social media pages and await for the response.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">11.3 Royal Enfield and its related companies and agencies will not be liable for any loss(including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of
profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Event or the acceptance or use of any prize, except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).</p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">11.4 Participation in this Event is purely voluntary. In order to participate, it is required that Rider provide to Royal Enfield personal data such as mobile number, email id and name.
Royal Enfield uses your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.</p>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">11.5 Interpretation -The decision of Royal Enfield as to the interpretation of any clause shall be final and binding on the Rider.</p>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● "<b>Event</b>" - for the purpose of these T&Cs, Event shall mean motorcycle racing championship called JK Tyre presents Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2023.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● "<b>Rider</b>" - for the purpose of these T&Cs, Rider shall mean an individual who is 18 (eighteen) years or above of age and registers for participating in the Event.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● "<b>Rider Selection Round</b>" - for the purpose of these T&Cs, Rider Selection Round shall mean the selection process/rounds defined by the Organisers to shortlist Riders for the
Event.</p>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● "<b>Race Round(s)</b>" - for the purpose of these T&Cs, Race Round shall mean and include all three (3) racing rounds that constitute the Event.</p>

<p style="margin-left: 20.0px;text-align: justify;">● "<b>Selected Rider</b>" - for the purpose of these T&Cs, Selected Rider shall mean the Rider selected for the final race rounds as per the established process of the Organisers.

The RE Continental GT Cup is a Manufacturers Single Make Cup which comprises of a grid of 25 race prepared Continental GT-R650 motorcycles to provide a level playing field where the riders skill makes the final difference. The races are run as a Pro-Am format. * What is the Pro-Am Format? The Pro-Am Format consists of 2 categories of 10 Professional riders and 15 Amateur riders who race on a common grid. * Is this a single Cup or 2 separate Cups? The Pro-Am Format will consist of 2 separate Cups - one each for the Amateur and Professional riders on the grid respectively. * Is this a National Championship? This is a Manufacturers Single Make National Cup that is conducted as a part of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship series. * How many races does this Cup comprise of? The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup consists of 3 rounds of racing with a total of 8 races spread through the championship. * Is there a separate category for women at the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup? We welcome all riders to participate in the Continental GT Cup, however we do not have a separate race category for women riders - all riders will compete in the same races on a common grid. * What is the points scoring system for the GT Cup? Riders shall score points based on their positions in each race as follows: 1st: 10 2nd: 8 3rd: 6 4th: 5 5th: 4 6th: 3 7th: 2 8th: 1 * How are race winners and overall Cup winners decided? The points mentioned above are scored by Amateur and Professional riders separately as per their classification at the end of each race. Every race will have 3 podium finishers from each category - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers as per the final race classification results. There are two championships that run side by side - GT Cup 2023 Professional and GT Cup 2023 Amateur The championship results are decided based on total points accumulated by all the racers at the end of all 3 rounds and 8 races. RIDER REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA * What is the age criteria to register for the GT Cup? All participants must be 18 years or older as on 1st January 2023. * What other requirements are there for registration? All participants must have the following: 1. FMSCI 2W Racing License (Restricted OR Full) - Proof 2. Valid participation certificate from any track school or track academy certified by the FMSCI as mentioned on this webpage: https://www.fmsci.co.in/2w-academies/. * What is the eligibility for the Professional and Amateur categories? 1. Professional - A grid strength of 10 riders composed of the top 3 riders from the GT Cup 2022 Season and an additional 7 riders who have finished in the top 3 in any other 2 Wheeler Racing Cup / Series / National Championship held within the last 5 years in India, under the affiliation of the FMSCI. 2. Amateur - A grid strength of 15 riders who possess an FMSCI 2 Wheeler Racing Licence (Restricted OR Full) or A Valid participation certificate from any track school or track academy certified by the FMSCI. * Is GT Cup open to Royal Enfield owners only? The GT Cup is open to anyone, irrespective of the motorcycle they own. * Do I need a valid Driving Licence to participate? You do not need a driving license, however, you must be 18 years or older with a valid govt proof * Do I need a valid FMSCI Racing Licence to participate? You are elibible for registration if you have an older FMSCI 2W Racing License (Non Renewed/Running) or Valid participation certificate from any track school or track academy certified by the FMSCI (the latter for Amateur only). Those 100 candidates confirmed for Rider Selection will need to appear with an FMSCI 2W Racing Licence valid for 2023 when they arrive for Rider Selection on the 1st August 2023 @ Kari Motor Speedway. * I have never raced a motorcycle before, can I participate? You can only register if you meet any of the eligibility criteria mentioned. * I have never ridden a motorcycle on track before, can I participate? This would not be possible, as you would not meet any of our mandatory eligibility criteria mentioned above. * I have ridden a motorcycle on track, but I do not have any proof? You would need to furnish acceptable proof of the same, or else you would not meet the criteria. * Does successful online registration mean I have a confirmed slot in the Rider Selection Round? Successful registration does not mean an automatic place in the Selection Round. Your registration form along with uploaded documentary proof will be validated. Upon successful validation, you will recieve a formal invitation on 18th July 2023 via email for the Selection Round along with a payment link for INR 2500 + GST. Only the first 25 Professional aspirants and first 75 Amateur aspirants who complete the payment process will be confirmed for the final Rider Selection Round. IMPORTANT DATES * What are the dates for registration? The online registrations will go live on the 10th July 1400hrs and remain open till 15th July 1800hrs. * What are the dates for payment? The payment for invitees will open on 18th July and remain open till 19th July 1700hrs or until all slots are full. * What are the dates for Rider Selection? Rider Selection Programme will be held on 1st August from 0800hrs till 1800hrs. * What are the dates for Rider Orientation? Rider Orientation will be held on 24th August from 1400hrs till 1800hrs. * What are the dates and venues for the Race Rounds? The Race Rounds will be held on the following dates: Round 1: 25th - 27th August at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore Round 2: 6th - 8th October at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore Round 3: 17th - 19th November at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore RIDER SELECTION DETAILS * How can I come for the Rider Selection? Those applicants who meet the eligibility criteria shall be sent a confirmation email on 18th July with an invitation to the Rider Selection Round along with a payment link for the same. * Once I have been invited for Rider Selection, what to do next? You should click on the link on your invitation email, fill in the form to verify your identity and make the online payment to book your slot for the Rider Selection Round. Please Note: that there are only 100 slots for Rider Selection, so only the first 25 Professional invitees and first 75 Amateur invitees to complete online payment will secure their slot for the Rider Selection. * When does the payment link activate for the Rider Selection? The payment for invitees will open on 18th July 1000hrs and remain open until 19th July 1700hrs or until all slots are full, whichever comes first. Please Note: this is on a first come first serve basis, so do ensure you pay up as soon as you receive your invitation mail. * What do I need to bring with me for Rider Selection Programme? You would need to bring your Helmet, Gloves, Boots, Inners (all certified for track use) as well as a Medical Fitness Certificate as issued by a registered medical practitioner. * Will RE provide travel, stay and food during Rider Selection? Royal Enfield will not be providing any travel, boarding or lodging for any of the events - Rider Selection / Rider Orientation / Race Rounds - this will have to be borne by the particpant himself / herself. * On what basis is the final Rider Selection decided? The Rider Selection for both categories is carried out on pure merit - fastest lap times! Amateur - the 15 riders with the fastest lap times will make it to the Amateur grid Professional - the 7 riders with the fastest lap times will make it to the Professional grid (3 slots in the Professional grid are already reserved for the top 3 championship finishers from GT Cup 2022) RIDER SELECTION FEE, ENTRY FEES AND PRIZE MONEY * What will it cost to register for the GT Cup? There is no cost for online registration for the GT Cup. * What will it cost to attend the Rider Selection Round? If you have received an invitation for the Rider Selection Programme, you will have to make an online payment of INR 2500 + 18% GST as Rider Selection Fee to secure your slot for the same. * What will it cost to attend the Rider Orientation? The Rider Orientation is included for the final list of 25 riders & 5 waitlisted riders and there is no additional payment for this. * What will it cost to participate in the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2023? The final 25 selected riders (10 Professional + 15 Amateur) will have to make a 100% advance payment of INR 20,000 + 18% GST as Rider Entry Fee to JK Tyre for all 3 rounds by 1800hrs on 1st August in order to confirm their participation in the RE Continental GT Cup 2023 * If I have to cancel my participation, will I get a refund of my fees? Upon cancellation by the rider, there shall be no refund of the amount paid, whether it be Rider Selection fee or Rider Entry fee or both. * What are the prizes for the Amateur Race and Cup winners? All Amateur Race winners shall get the following prizes (in cash or kind or combinations of the two): 1st: Trophy + INR 15,000 2nd: Trophy + INR 12,000 3rd: Trophy + INR 9,000 4th: Trophy + INR 6,000 5th: Trophy + INR 3,000 The Amateur Cup winners shall get the following prizes (in cash or kind or a combinations of the two): 1st: Trophy + INR 1,50,000 2nd: Trophy + INR 1,00,000 3rd: Trophy + INR 50,000 * What are the prizes for the Professional Race and Cup winners? All Professional Race winners shall get the following prizes (in cash or kind or combinations of the two): 1st: Trophy + INR 30,000 2nd: Trophy + INR 20,000 3rd: Trophy + INR 10,000 The Professional Cup winners shall get the following prizes (in cash or kind or a combinations of the two): 1st: Trophy + INR 2,00,000 2nd: Trophy + INR 1,25,000 3rd: Trophy + INR 75,000 MOTORCYCLE, RIDING GEAR AND SAFETY * Do we need to pay extra money for the motorcycle? No, Royal Enfield will provide race prepared Continental GT-R650 motorcycles for all events during the GT Cup. There is no extra charge for this, apart from the Rider Selection Fee and Rider Entry Fee as mentioned earlier. * What is the minimum helmet safety certification? The required helmet safety certification with a Double-D ring locking system: 1. Europe: ECE 22-05 ‘P’ 2. Japan: JIS T 8133:2000, JIS T 8133:2007 JIS T 8133:2015 (Only Type 2 Full face) 3. USA: SNELL M 2005, SNELL M 2010, SNELL M 2015 * What is included in the riding gear? Rider Selection: Royal Enfield will provide 1 piece leather racing suits that comply with FMSCI regulations including chest and back protectors. Riders must bring their own inners, helmets, gloves and boots - all track riding specific. Race Rounds (all 8 races): Riders must bring their own track spec leather racing suits, helmets, gloves, boots and inners. Royal Enfield shall not be responsible for providing riding and safety gear to the list of final participants. * In case of a medical emergency what kind of backup is provided? The organisers shall have a medical ambulance with a doctor and paramedics on track during all events. * What will happen in case of Motorcycle breakdown? RE will provide a complete technical race crew with tools and spares for backup to repair and maintain all race fleet. * What are the safety provisions being made by Royal Enfield? Royal Enfield & JK Tyre follow all safety procedures and provisions as stipulated by the FMSCI to conduct racing tournaments - including vehicle, rider and safety gear scrutiny before each race, ambulances, paramdeics & first-aid available for all on-ground events. GENERIC QUESTIONS * Can I participate in only 1 race or 1 round of racing? Selected riders must participate in the entire championship, which consists of all 3 rounds and all 8 races. If for any circumstances, a racer chooses not to participate or is unable to participate in any of the 3 race rounds he/she will be will be replaced by a waitlisted racer for those races. There will be no re-imbursement of fees paid to Royal Enfield or JK Tyre. * If I finish as one of the top 3 overall winners of the GT Cup, is there any certification, sponsorship or endorsement that I will get from Royal Enfield? All six overall Cup podium finishers will receive rewards as listed above - Royal Enfield will not provide any other certification, sponsorship or endorsement to the winners. * Does winning the overall Cup automatically mean that I qualify for next years GT Cup season as well? Overall Cup winners of one season do not necessarily qualify for the next season. Each season will have it's own selection process. * Will this be televised? The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup will not be televised, but you can view image galleries, race videos, race reports, overall Cup standings and a lot of interesting race related content on our @RoyalEnfieldMotorsport social media handle and the dedicated GT Cup website royalenfield.com/gtcup The races are also streamed live on the JK Tyre Motorsport and Royal Enfield YouTube channel.
