ANZAC - HELLES - SUVLA - THE DARDANELLES

The aim of the Gallipoli Gazetteer is to help those who are not able to visit
the battlefields get a better understanding of the geography of the peninsular.
It will also be an aid to those independent travellers to the battlefields.

This Gazetteer will contain an alphabetical list of place names on the Gallipoli
Battlefields.

When this is completed the next step will be to add the exact location of these
places on a map of the Peninsular, together with a description of each location
and its role in the Gallipoli Campaign.

The third stage will have illustrations and photographs added with quotes from
some of the many books written on this ill-fated campaign.

Currently the Gazetteer is work in progress, but in the meantime any queries
about Gallipoli place names can be sent to talk2us@gallipoli.com.tr
