HOW TO SET UP IPTV

WHAT IS IPTV?

Unlike traditional cable and satellite TV signals that are transported over
expensive infrastructure owned by media corporations, IPTV service delivers TV
content over the public internet to your TV or streaming devices. IPTV service
supports streaming on Smart TV, phone, tablet, Android box and Windows PC. With
an internet connection, a smart TV or streaming device and an IPTV subscription,
you can watch your favorite TV programs wherever you go.


DO I NEED VPN SERVICE?

It is highly recommended to have VPN service while using IPTV to protect your
online identity, your external IP address. There are many reputable VPN services
such as IPVanish, ExpressVPN, and NordVPN.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

Amazon Firestick (STB-Emulator)
IPTV Box
Smart TV (Samsung or LG)
Apple Devices
Amazon Firestick (STB-Emulator)

You will need to install the STB Emulator app on your Amazon Firestick to use
IPTV service.

1. Go to Device Settings – Developer Options – Enable apps from unknown sources

2. Go to the Amazon app store and download an app called “Downloader”. 

3. Open Downloader app, type in URL https://sundayiptv.com/stbemu/stbemu.apk to
download the STB Emulator app onto your Firestick. 

4. If this is the first time you are using this app, the first page you will see
is a grey greetings page. Click the configure button located on the bottom
left. 

5. You are now on the Settings page. Please select Profiles. 

6. You will see a profile named ” New profile #xxxxxx “. Please select profile.

7. Use the first option to change the profile name to whatever you want. 

8. Go to Portal Settings, and then Portal URL (NOT Internal Portal), change the
Portal URL to what your provider give you

9. Go back to Profile Settings and select STB Configuration. 

10. You will see a MAC address starting with 00:1A:79. Take a moment to copy
that MAC address.

11. Purchase a subscription and provide your selected provider with that MAC
address. 

12. Back out of all the pages until you are back to the home screen. 

13. Once you have confirmation that your subscription is activated. While you
are on the home screen,  click on the menu button on your Firestick remote or
select the top right corner of the screen to toggle a grey drop down menu. 

15. From the grey drop down menu, select your profile.

16. IPTV service will begin to load.

Common mistakes and issues.

There are a few things you should check if your service does not start.

Please wait until you receive a confirmation email from your provider stating
that your device has been activated. Trying to load the portal before will
result in a username/authentication request or a “STB is blocked message”.

After receiving an activation confirmation email and if  you still get a
username/password screen, it means that the MAC address you provided does not
match the one in the STB Emulator settings. Please double check the MAC address
and provide your provider with the correct one.

If you get a “Host not found” error message, it usually means that you typed the
Portal URL incorrectly or your device is not connected to the internet.

If you receive a message stating that the firmware is outdated, it most likely
means that you have entered the Portal URL incorrectly. Back to the top

IPTV Box

Some examples of IPTV boxes include the Formuler z7+, Dreamlink T2 or BuzzTV XPL
300 boxes (there are many more examples).

IPTV boxes use there own app to stream IPTV service. So the exact instructions
might be a little bit different depending on what box you are using. Below are
steps you need to follow

1. Provide your provider with the MAC address starting with 00:1A:79 when you
place an order for a subscription.

2. The MAC address can usually be found on a sticker somewhere on the box or in
the box settings page.

3. Under Portal Settings, enter in the Portal URL provided by your provider

4. Purchase the subscription from provider and wait the activation confirmation
email.

5. Once you receive the confirmation that your device has been activated, reboot
the box and load the portal.

Common mistakes and issues.

If you have received an email confirmation stating your service has been
activate but you are still getting an authentication screen, it usually means
that there is a discrepancy in the MAC address you provided and that of your
device. Please double check and provide your provider with the correct MAC
address.

If you get a message that states firmware is outdated or path to portal is not
found, it means that you have entered the MAC address incorrectly. Back to the

Smart TV (Samsung or LG)

You will need to install the Smart-STB app on your TV in order to use IPTV
service.

Luckily, it is pretty easy to install and configure. Here is a great video that
you might find useful.

1. From your app store, install the Smart-STB app on your Samsung or LG
television

2.Open the app and go to the Device Info page. Copy the Software ID and Virtual
MAC address.

3. Head to the Smart-STB website and choose between there 7 day free trial,
monthly membership, or lifetime fee.

4. Register the Software ID on the website.

5. Enter portal URL of the server (provided by your service provider)

6. Go back to the app and select Portal. Re-enter the Portal URL (provided by
your service provider)

7. Purchase a subscription and provide the selected provider with Virtual MAC
address

9. Reboot the device and load the Custom portal you created. It should load
momentarily.

Common issues and mistakes.

If you get a message stating that your firmware needs to be updated, you have
most likely entered the Portal URL incorrectly.

If you get an authentication screen asking for a username/password, it usually
means that we have not yet activated your service or the Virtual MAC address you
provided does not match the one on the app.

If you don’t have access the the custom portal on the app, it usually means that
you did not register the Software ID under “Device Info” on the
Smart-STB website. 

Apple Devices

You will need to install the Ministra Player app onto your device.

The Ministra Player app is supported by iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

Macbook device is not supported.

Below is the instruction.

1. Download and Install the Ministra Player app from the app store

2. Purchase the subscription from your selected provider. In the Order, specify
that you will be using the Ministra Player app for iOS device.

4. Wait for confirmation email from your provider providing you with a username
and password.
