Please, have in mind that when you pick up your car, it is required by the local
supplier to leave a security deposit for the vehicle. It means that form of an
amount (minimum: Excess + Fuel + VAT) is being blocked on the primary drivers
credit card. (Switch, Maestro, cash deposits and debit cards are acceptable in
rare cases, so please make sure you call us if this facility is required for
you)
At the Car Rental Counter...
Make sure, you have the following
Show your credit card, voucher and driving license. There also will be required
the balance for your rentals
Carefully read the rental agreement.
Read all insurance details and additional insurances paid and agreed for at the
counter carefully.
Make sure to ask the agent to explain you anything you do not understand or are
unsure of on the rental agreement before signing.
Before you leave the Rental Car Agent
Check, isn't the car damaged. Inform the supplier representative about any
damages not shown on the rental agreement at once in the car park or at the
desk. Ensure they sign off the damage on the rental agreement before driving
your car.
Make sure that all requested additional equipment is included. Check the
equipment to ensure it meets the requirements. If there are any issues, please
bring them to the supplier notice. For any additional equipment you must pay at
the desk.
Check the route of your journey. Check the equipment to ensure it is adequate
for your needs. Any issues please bring them to the supplier representative for
a map or advice if needed.
When returning the Car to an Agent
Check for damages. In case there are any damages, necessarily bring it to the
representative’s notice. Feel free to ask them about any charges they consider
necessary and get it in writing.
Make sure that supplier representative signs off the drop-off. It is very
important to ensure that rental agreement is signed off by the supplier
representative. Try to leave yourself enough time before the flight.

Planning ahead is very important and sometimes there is a need to change or
cancel a reservation. Cancellation can be made in “My bookings” section on
EconomyBookings.com.
Cancellation policy for Fully Prepaid Bookings and Deposit/Partially Prepaid
Bookings
If you cancel your booking 48 hours or more prior to your pick-up, you will be
refunded minus the cancellation fee of 75.00 EUR*. If your prepayment is less
than 75.00 EUR*, you will not receive a refund.
If you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before pick-up, you will be
refunded minus the cancellation fee of 150.00 EUR*. If your prepayment is less
than 150.00 EUR*, you will not receive a refund.
If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before pick-up, you will not
receive a refund.
No refund will be applied for unused rental days.
You cannot cancel your booking if your rental has already started.
*Or the same amount in USD/GBP at the exchange rate on the cancellation date.
The product is non-refundable in the following cases:
You did not inform us about the cancellation of your booking prior to your
pickup.
You failed to pick the car up at the arranged time and date.
You failed to provide the documentation that is required to pick the car up.
You failed to provide a credit card with enough available funds and with the
main driver's name printed on it.
*In all of these cases, you’ll receive no refund of the money you’ve paid. The
car rental company reserves the right to refuse the car to any customer who
fails to arrive at the scheduled time and date with all necessary documentation
and a credit card in the main driver’s name with enough available funds for the
car’s deposit.
Amendments
You can amend your booking in „My Bookings” section at website at least 48 hours
before your rental is due to start. Please note that if you decide to amend your
booking you will be charged an Amendment Fee of 18.00 EUR. If you have purchased
Cancel Protection you can amend your booking without Amendment Fee up until 1
hour before scheduled pickup.
Please note that any amendment such as amendment of pickup or drop-off location,
car group, rental period and driver’s personal details may affect rental price
which may be different from what you paid initially.
Please note: prices are based on the pick-up and drop-off times and dates that
you arrange before your rental starts. If you pick the car up any later or bring
it back any earlier, you will not receive a refund for unused hours or days.

Compensation Voucher Terms and Conditions

The below terms and conditions are subject to the voucher use upon its issue: 

Validity Period: The Compensation Voucher is valid for 24 months from the date
of its issue. The voucher will expire after 24 months and cannot be extended.

Value: The voucher value is equivalent to the amount charged during the original
booking of car rental services. The voucher may be applied within any car rental
services that are part of the Booking Group system. Payment will be eligible for
published car rental prices only. The voucher cannot be used to pay for other
fees, for example ‘local taxes’, relating to other car rental services. The
voucher does not annul cancellation policy terms and conditions. Voucher has no
cash value.

Voucher use: This voucher can only be redeemed at economybookings.com and
avtoprokat.ru websites. When applying the voucher no additional fees will be
incurred. Voucher may not be redeemed anywhere else outside of the
www.economybookings.com and www.avtoprokat.ru websites. If you want to apply
your Compensation Voucher, please go to the desktop version of
EconomyBookings.com and choose your location, dates, and vehicle. Proceed to the
payment step, find an empty field under the Price Summary and type your Voucher
code as shown in the screenshot below.

Residual value: If redeemed for less than its face value, the remaining residual
value of this voucher may be applied to subsequent car rental booking purchases
at www.economybookings.com and www.avtoprokat.ru. The expiration date of the
original voucher will apply to any residual value.

Transferability: Compensation Voucher issued through www.economybookings.com and
www.avtoprokat.ru can be transferred to other clients for car rental services
part of Booking Group. To transfer the voucher you must provide the other client
with the combination of unique digits and characters for use when booking car
rental services. By disclosing the voucher information shall be considered as
authorization for use by the disclosed party. Owner takes full responsibility
for protecting this information and Booking Group assumes no responsibility in
case of voucher disclosure or unauthorized use at the moment of its redemption.

Theft or Loss: Voucher will not be replaced if stolen or lost.  

Sale or Trade/Barter: Despite the vouchers being transferrable they cannot be
sold, traded or bartered. If a voucher is suspected of having been purchased,
bartered or traded Booking Group reserves the right to void the voucher and the
transaction.

*The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service to the extent
such amendment is in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.

What do I need to take to pick up the car?
At pick-up, the main driver must have a credit card with enough money in the
balance to cover the deposit for the car, full driving license in his/her name
(the same for all additional drivers) along with EconomyBookings.com Rental
Voucher.
Can I rent a car without a credit card?
No, you will need a credit card to leave a deposit at the counter. The deposit
is blocked on the main driver’s credit card by the car rental company before
they give you the rental car keys.These card types are NOT accepted for deposit:
Electron, prepaid, debit, electronic use only, reloadable, virtual, revolving,
Maestro, Solo, Switch. To check the type of your card please follow the link

What is a deposit and an excess?
The deposit is an amount consisting of an excess and a cost of fuel which is
blocked on the customer's credit card as a guarantee on the rental car. The
amount of the deposit varies according to the car category. The deposit is
unlocked by the car rental company on the drop off date provided that the car is
returned in the same condition as rented. An excess is an amount of money
withheld by the car rental company from the deposit you left when you picked the
car up if the car was damaged (Damage Excess) or stolen (Theft Excess) during
the rental. For example, if your damage excess was 300 EUR and damage to the
bodywork is 1,000 EUR on return, you would only have to pay 300 EUR. The rest
700 EUR would be covered by CDW policy.
What is an Advanced Payment/Prepayment?
EconomyBookings.com requires full or partial prepayment depending on car rental
company terms and conditions to guarantee car price and availability. For
partial prepayment, the amount to be paid on arrival will be indicated on your
confirmation voucher. You will be charged for this amount at the counter by the
car rental company along with the cost of additional options if there are any.
If the confirmation voucher indicates “zero” to be paid on arrival, it means
that you have paid for your car rental in full in advance and at the counter you
will only need to produce your papers and credit card to leave a deposit.
Why do I need to sign a rental agreement at the counter?
EconomyBookings.com acts as a car rental agent connecting customers with car
rental companies. The rental agreement you sign with the rental company is
subject to its terms and conditions and the law of the country you are renting
in. Read terms and conditions of the agreement carefully and make sure that you
understand (and agree to) them. All additional drivers will also need to sign
the rental agreement.
What insurances does my rental have?
The standard car rental insurance policies are Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and
Theft Protection (TP). They can be either included in the price, purchased from
the car rental company or provided by the customer's credit card company.
What is Collision Damage Waiver?
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) limits the renter’s liability for the car to the
Excess – the amount of money the car rental company will charge the renter in
the event that the rental car is damaged. Such items as windscreen, locks,
tires, undercarriage, keys, towing charges are often not covered by the CDW.
Please check your confirmation voucher for terms and conditions to know what is
covered.
What is Theft Protection?
Theft Protection (TP) limits the renter’s liability for the car to the Excess –
the amount of money the car rental company will charge the renter in the event
that rental car is stolen. Theft Protection does not cover personal belongings.
Are there any additional charges at drop-off?
Charges may be applied to the amount of fuel, excessive dirt as well as to extra
hours / days, so be sure to return your rental car on date and time specified in
the agreement to avoid charges.
What if I want to travel abroad?
If you are planning to cross the border of the country you are renting the car
in please check terms and conditions of the car rental because the restrictions
may apply for some countries as well as an additional fee and additional
coverage. It may also not be possible to take the car to another country
depending on where you are renting.
What is the fuel policy?
The fuel policy explains how you will pay for the fuel and whether you need to
fill the tank before you return the car or not. There is a certain Fuel policy
for each car rental company displayed on the terms and conditions section, on
your confirmation voucher and on the rental agreement provided by the car rental
company at the counter.
What should I do if my rental car has broken down or if I have a car accident?
In the case of breakdown or an accident, call the car rental company straight
away. The emergency number is indicated in you rental agreement. The car rental
company will let you know what to do next. Keep any paperwork you completed. For
accidents, a police report and an accident report from the car rental counter
will be required.
How do I amend my booking?
You can amend your booking in „My Bookings” section at website at least 48 hours
before your rental is due to start. Please note that if you decide to amend your
booking you will be charged an Amendment Fee of 18.00 EUR. If you have purchased
Cancel Protection you can amend your booking without Amendment Fee up until 1

at pick-up directly to the car rental company.
What payment methods does EconomyBookings.com accept?
You can make your booking on EconomyBookings.com with credit cards Visa,
MasterCard or American Express. You will also need a credit card on the pick-up
to leave a deposit.
How do I cancel my booking?
To cancel your booking, log in to “My bookings” and click Cancel.
Do I have other options other than cancelling my booking?
Yes, we also offer a "Compensation Voucher", which can provide additional
flexibility when clients plans remain uncertain.
What is a Compensation Voucher?
This is a unique voucher code that can be applied to future bookings. The
voucher:
 * Will be equal to the full value of the charged amount upon the initial
   booking
 * Will be valid for 24 months from the date it is issued
 * Will be applicable to any car rental location and car rental type of your
   choice
 * Can be used more than once in case Compensation Voucher amount exceeds the
   value of your next car rental payment

If you want to apply your Compensation Voucher, please go to the desktop version
of EconomyBookings.com and choose your location, dates, and vehicle. Proceed to
the payment step, find an empty field under the Price Summary and type your
Voucher code as shown in the screenshot below.
Does additional fee apply to additional drivers?
It depends on car rental company’s terms and conditions. For some companies one
or more additional drivers may be included in a car rental price, for others
there may be an additional fee for any additional driver required to be paid at
the counter. All drivers need to be present at the counter to pick the car up
and must possess their driving licenses and passports.
What are the requirements for a driving license?
A driving license must be presented at pick-up. At least one year of driving
experience is required. The car won’t be provided to you if your license has
expired or is provisional. When you rent a car abroad, in some countries you
will need an International Driving Permit (often called International Driving
License). Please note that International Driving Permit is only valid when used
in conjunction with your valid national driving license. Please check your
voucher to see if you need one or not.
Should I pay any extra charges at pick-up?
On some occasions, there could be charges paid directly to the car rental
company like airport fee, winterization fee, one-way fee, out of hours fee,
cross-border fee etc. Please check you rental car’s terms and conditions for
details.
What should I do when I get to my car?
Before you sign the contract and drive away with your rental car, take a little
time to familiarize yourself with your rental car, check fuel type and level,
headlights, hazards, windscreen wipers, door locks etc. Be sure to inspect
scratches, dents or any other damages in the presence of an agent and ask to
record them. The good thing is to take photos of the rental car before pick-up
and after drop-off so there is no confusion regarding the car’s condition upon
return.
Do I need to leave a deposit when picking my rental car up?
Yes, the car rental company requires a deposit temporarily blocked on main
driver’s credit card to cover damages or theft during your rental. The deposit
amount is held for the duration of the rental and will be unblocked within seven
working days if you return the car undamaged at the end of the rental. If there
are not enough funds available on main driver’s credit card to leave a deposit,
the car rental company may refuse to provide you with the car. The counter staff
may also insist you buy additional cover from them. This is a common practice
among car rental companies.
What protection/cover do I receive for my car at the counter?
Please check the terms and conditions of the coverage before you sign the rental
agreement at the counter to find out if something is excluded or limited.
Standard policies normally exclude such details as windscreen, glass, wheels,
tires, undercarriage, interior, personal possessions, as well as towing charges,
off-road time and any additional equipment such as child seats and GPS devices.
Note that your cover will be invalidated by negligence, misfuelling or breaking
the terms of the rental agreement (for example, driving under the influence of
alcohol or drugs).
What additional cover can I buy from the counter staff?
The most common additional cover is Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW). Under
the company T&Cs, an SCDW policy can cover those parts of the car that aren’t
covered by the company’s standard Collision Damage Waiver policy like windows,
wheels and tires, reduce the excess or set the excess to zero so you wouldn’t
have to leave a deposit at pick-up or pay anything for damages.
What coverage does EconomyBookings.com provide?
We offer EconomyBookings.com Full Coverage product. At the counter, the car
rental company will block a security deposit amount on your credit card. In case
the car is damaged or stolen during your rental, the car rental company will
withhold an amount of money from your deposit/excess that will be reimbursed by
EconomyBookings.com as long as you have purchased Full Coverage before pick-up.
Please note, that the car rental company does not know that the customer has
purchased EconomyBookings.com Full Coverage.
Will I need to leave a deposit if I have purchased EconomyBookings.com Full
Coverage?
Yes, you will still need to leave a deposit. EconomyBookings.com Full Coverage
reimburses an amount of money withheld from your deposit by the car rental
company in case your rental car was damaged or stolen.
What should I do if I didn’t receive a confirmation voucher email?
Log in to “My bookings” and check the status of your booking at any time. We
confirm most bookings right away and within 48 hours at the latest. If you
haven’t received any confirmation within 48 hours, we will contact you with the
explanation.
Can I receive a refund for unused time if I returned my rental car early?
The price of your rental is calculated based on pick-up and drop-off times and
dates specified in your rental agreement. You won’t get a refund for unused time
if you pick the car up late or drop it off early.
Why have I been overcharged by the car rental company?
The potential reasons you may be charged for by the car rental company directly
are specified in your car rental agreement including but not limited to damage
to the vehicle, fines, parking tickets, additional extras, refueling charges. If
you were overcharged by the car rental company, please go to “Contacts” section
on our website and fill out the form selecting the topic “Your rental is over
and you have a question for our Customer Support Service” and then “Overcharge
by Rental Company”.
How do I make a claim?
You can make a claim and contact our Support Team by going to “Contacts” section
on our website and fill out the form selecting the corresponding topic.
How do I create an Account?
You can easily view and manage all your bookings (past, present and future) in
your account. Find the “My bookings” section at the top of the home page of the
EconomyBookings.com website, click on it, click on “Sign in”, enter email
address and password you want to use or your Booking Number, then click Sign
in/Register to create an account. Verify your account through an email that you
will receive right after that. Now you are ready to log in, edit your profile
and manage your bookings.
Should I pay an additional fee if I want to pick the car up out of hours?
This service is provided by some car rental companies in some locations and
incurs an additional fee. If you want to pick the car up or drop it off out of
business hours, the company has to be notified in advance.
What if my flight is delayed or canceled?
Please inform us of this matter by email or phone as soon as possible. Providing
us in advance with your flight details may also be useful: the car rental
company will be aware of flight changes and may hold the car for up to an hour.

plans caused for the reason that your flight was delayed or canceled.
