They use the finest ingredients and buy locally whenever possible offering truffles, barks and toffees, drinking chocolate, and panned items along with some other specialty items. Toronto, Canada Sustainability spotlight In May 2024, the Pembina Institute in Toronto announced support from FedEx for their launch initiative to help accelerate fleet electrification: The announcement reflects a commitment by FedEx to advance sustainable transportation throughout Canada. FedEx is working toward transforming its entire parcel pickup and delivery fleet to zero-tailpipe-emissions vehicles by 2040, as part of its goal to reach carbon-neutral operations by the same year. Paris, France Economic Impact In February 2024, FedEx was announced as the new title sponsor of golf’s Open de France, the oldest national open in mainland Europe.This is the first time that FedEx has expanded its golfing sponsorship portfolio to the DP World Tour. Learn More Delhi Economic Impact FedEx inaugurated the new Delhi Export facility in April 2023. The 18,000 sq ft area includes offices, sorting systems, operations areas, and a warehouse and can sort up to 8,500 packages per hour. The facility uses solar-generated electricity from the airport operator and a variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling system that reduces electricity consumption by an estimated 15%. The walls are painted white for maximum light reflection resulting in reducing required luminous intensity (lux level) of the light fitting thus reducing electricity consumption.
