WELCOME

Hello! I am a ceramic artist based in Canberra, Australia. I can’t believe its
2024! For the past three years, I’ve been a little quiet as I focused on keeping
my gallery going during the pandemic. Recently, I went overseas and this much
needed three month break gave me the impetus I needed to get back into my
practice. I have written a little blog post that starts at the end of my trip
with an exhibition on Viennese ceramicist Lucie Rie in Bath, United Kingdom.
More stories to come on ceramics from Austria, The Netherlands and London.

I haven’t exhibited lately, so below is some works from my 2020 shows – one at
The Corner Store Gallery as part of a special swap with Gallery of Small Things.
The other at CraftACT: Craft + Design Centre. I made three birds especially for
these shows. While the exhibitions are now over, enjoy this special video of the
making of my birds which is seen below.

Also, keep an eye on this space as I hope to make an announcement soon on a
special project I’ve been working on since Oct 2023 to mid Jan 2024. Cross
fingers I can reveal a special public artwork in February 2024.
