HOURS
The Aquarium is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last entry at 5:00
p.m.) with extended hours on Monday nights til 8:00 p.m. (last entry at 7:00
p.m.)
Aquarium hours may be adjusted for special events. Irregular hours and closures
will be posted on our website in advance.
EECO Voyager shows begin at 10:15 a.m. daily. To view both shows, space your
reservations at least 45 minutes apart. Launch times are staggered and cannot be
booked back-to-back. Aquarium Admission is required.
OUTDOOR EXHIBITS
During inclement weather, the outdoor play areas and attractions may be closed.

High School Credit Policy
LLPA recognizes that some high school classes or programs may allow students to
use volunteer service hours for school credit. Volunteers may use LLPA as a
service site for such programs, if they are actively enrolled in the regular
LLPA volunteer program, and if they have prior approval from the Volunteer
Services Coordinator (VSC). The high school program requirements must align with
LLPA’s existing volunteer program. Volunteers may ask the VSC for action items
including, but not limited to, signing timesheets, confirming hours, and
reviewing volunteer performance. The VSC reserves the right to refuse
participation in any of these activities, particularly if a program conflicts
with any LLPA policies. Any volunteer using LLPA as a service site for high
school credit is not excused from any policies outlined in the volunteer
handbook. High school students who are not part of LLPA’s volunteer program, may
not use the aquarium as a service site for short-term and/or one-off
opportunities.
Student volunteers and any involved teachers or administrators must receive
prior approval from the VSC before participation in any service-for-credit
program. Volunteers should not assume that they can use LLPA as a service site
for credit, unless they have already received confirmation from the VSC. The VSC
may ask to see any documentation, program descriptions, or related paperwork,
prior to confirming LLPA’s participation in the program. Students, teachers, and
administrators should be aware that any service completed in the LLPA volunteer
program is classified as volunteer service. This is not interchangeable with
internship work, job shadows, or any other classification of unpaid work.
Students, teachers, and administrators should be aware that the VSC may choose
not to sign any paperwork that designates service activities under a different
classification (internship, externship, job shadow, etc.).
