USDA Prime Angus Beef Petite Filet Mignon paired with sweet and succulent Wild
Caught Maine Lobster Tails. Receive (4) 6 oz. steaks and (4) 6-7 oz tails, raw
and individually sealed.

Preparation Instructions (steaks):
For best results thaw under refrigeration. Use within 5-7 days. Cook steak
according to a meat thermometer rather than a time table. Remove steaks from
grill, pan, or oven 5 degrees before desired doneness. Let steak rest 5-10
minutes before serving.

Rare: 125-130°F
Medium Rare: 130-145°F
Medium: 140-145°F
Medium Well: 150-160°F
Well: 160-170°F

Preparation Instructions (lobster):
Preparation Instructions: Keep frozen until ready to prepare. Defrost under
refrigeration until fully thawed.
BROIL: Preheat broiler. Split top side of tail lengthwise 1/2 way through meat
of tail. Gently spread shell open and pull meat out of shell slightly keeping
tail end attached to shell. Place on baking sheet. Lightly oil or use clarified
butter to coat tail and season as desired. Broil tail for 7-12 minutes, or until
meat is opaque in color. Let stand 2-3 minutes before serving.

BAKE: Follow lobster tail preparations as noted above, season and bake at 400°F
in preheated oven for 10 -15 minutes. ***Tip: to prevent tail from curling
while cooking, place a skewer down the middle of the

GOOD STEAK AND LOBSTER DINNER

I received my order frozen in a large insulated box with a block of dry ice.
The food was inside another box. When I saw how small the box was, I knew
the content wouldn’t be that big -- and I was right. The filets were small.
The lobster tails were bigger.

We let everything thaw in the fridge for three days. The steaks were thawed
and ready to be cooked, while the lobster tails still had parts that were
frozen. We decided to grill the meats first. The meat tasted OK, but lack
the wow factor. When we broiled the lobster tails with butter the following
day, they tasted better (as other reviewers also noted.) Overall, we had a
wonderful dinner, but I think my favorite part is the insulated box it came
in.

LOBSTER TAILS AND PETIT FILETS

I am from the East coast and used to lobster dinners.

THESE lobster tails were so SMALL we barely got a fork full
of lobster meat from each one. ( I split and broiled them with
butter and bread crumbs. ) The steaks were
also disappointingly small. I would not purchase them again or
recommend anyone else to do so.

EXPENSIVE AND OVER-RATED MEDIUM QUALITY PRODUCT

I was very disappointed in the so called "prime" steaks! Some of the meat
was tough and some had membrane or gristle instead of the marbling known to
be part of prime meat. This results in a very over priced product!
The lobster tails were excellent but the steaks were no better than "choice"
at the local grocery store.

GOOD BUT NOT PRIME BEEF OR WORTH $150

Food was delivered quickly. The lobster tails were good but the "Prime"
Filet Mignon was very fatty (huge piece of fat in the middle of a couple. So
big, when cooked, the piece of meat split in two) and not tender. Not worth
the price.

EXCELLENT FOOD, TERRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE

Delivery of this order was delayed twice, leaving us uncertain whether it
would arrive in time for Christmas. Consequently, we had to order the food
from another source. The vender told Costco it has "shipped" but sent us two
emails saying it had not shipped. We tried to cancel the order but Costco's
site showed it as "partially shipped" and could not guaranty cancellation.
The order was delivered the following week by a messenger who literally
sprinted to our door, dropped the package and sprinted back to his truck as
though he was afraid to be caught committing a crime.

HOWEVER, if you are not concerned about time delivery and ever get them, the
steaks and lobster are first rate.
