Plastic crates, bins & storage containers are used by many industries to store
and transport a variety of goods, products and equipment. Unlike most forms of
one-way packaging, these plastic tubs are completely reusable and can be used

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A PLASTIC CRATE FOR YOUR WORKPLACE

Given their convenience, plastic storage tubs are a staple of many industries.
They are commonly used as warehouse plastic crates, storeroom plastic
containers, hospital plastic trays, laboratory plastic trays and more. In
particular, our food gradable plastic crates are suitable for washing and high
pressure cleaning, and can withstand freezing conditions, making them perfect
for storing and transporting food. These food grade plastic containers like our
IH004 84L Vented Plastic Crate and our RI455 455L Plastic Tank are therefore
great for use in food and hospitality industries.

It is important to note though that you should only use plastic tubs and plastic
crates that are labelled as food gradable for food-related applications. Since
not all containers are food gradable, some are not suitable for long term
contact with food as chemicals can start to leak out. In addition to this,
single-use receptacles such as takeaway containers and ice cream containers are
likewise unsuitable for industrial long term food storage as they cannot
withstand repeated heating and freezing. By only using food gradable plastic
trays to look after food, you can get the job done while maintaining the quality
and the safety of your produce.

Furthermore, it is important to be aware that for many of our plastic storage
tubs, our lids are sold separately. If you require a plastic container with a
lid, keep this in mind.


STACK & NEST CRATES

At Plastics2Go, we have plastic containers that can either be nested into each
other or stacked on top of one another, or even both. For example, our IH059 22L
Plastic Nesting Crates can be nested into one another, our IH072 36L Plastic
Stacking Crates can be stacked on top of one another, and our IH2260 26L Plastic
Stack & Nest Crates are both stackable and nestable. Additionally, we also have
stack and nest plastic crates that are vented, like our IH2527 52L Plastic Stack
& Nest Vented Crate and our IH323 48L Plastic Bread Crate. These ventilated
plastic crates have vented sides that provide increased airflow and allow
contents to cool faster (this is particularly useful for food storage in spaces
such as cool rooms).


PLASTIC BUCKETS

Plastic buckets like our N075 22L Plastic Bucket and our IP018 84L Plastic
Circular Bin are great for all sorts of storage and transportation applications.
As these are all food gradable, you can safely use them to handle food.


PLASTIC PARTS TRAY STORAGE CONTAINERS

Plastic parts tray containers are designed to store small and miscellaneous
items such as nuts, bolts and other small components. Examples include our
IH1003 6L Plastic Microbin and our IH344 Small Spare Parts Storage Container.
One thing to note, however, is that as these plastic microbins are made from
recycled plastic, they are not food gradable.

Our rectangular plastic tanks are suitable for storing large and bulky items.

polyethylene and are suited for various industrial storage and transportation
