TIPS

To return expected results, you can:

 * Reduce the number of search terms. Each term you use focuses the search
   further.
 * Check your spelling. A single misspelled or incorrectly typed term can change
   your result.
 * Try substituting synonyms for your original terms. For example, instead of
searching for "java classes", try "java training"
 * Did you search for an IBM acquired or sold product ? If so, follow the
appropriate link below to find the content you need.

HANDS-ON LAB FOR A SINGLE IBM MQ QUEUE MANAGER AND LOCAL CLIENTS, CHAPTER 9

QUESTION & ANSWER

QUESTION

Hands-on Lab for a single IBM MQ queue manager and local clients.

With the instructions provided in this tutorial, you create, start, and
administer local IBM MQ queue managers.
You learn the use of both the IBM MQ Explorer and IBM MQ control commands.

We provide equivalent steps for common queue manager configuration tasks using
the IBM MQ Explorer and MQSC script commands.

You perform both point-to-point and publish/subscribe messaging using the local
IBM MQ infrastructure you build.

We discuss the following topics:
- Overview of the hands-on chapters of this book
- Environment setup
- Messaging with a local queue manager
- IBM MQ publish/subscribe
