ABOUT NYCLI VOLLEYBALL CLUB
OUR MISSION
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
The vision of NYCLI Volleyball is to be a top premier club in Queens, NY and in
time in New York City. We seek to have strong competitive teams composed of
athletes who desire to compete to the highest of their abilities. Our goal is to
push our athletes to reach their maximum potential both athletically,
individually, and academically. We provide state of the art volleyball coaching,
life coaching, and equipment to all of our players. Our coaches are dedicated to
aid all athletes to reach their goals and excel both on and off the court.
Here at NYCLI, we emphasize the importance of family. Athletes will create
friendships with other players and form relationships with coaches that will
last a lifetime. We are committed to achieving athletic, academic, and
individual excellence. If our athletes want to play in college, we want to help
them achieve their dreams. We will aid our athletes to navigate their collegiate
recruiting process to play at the next level.play.
OUR HISTORY
NYCLI Volleyball Club was founded in 2022 by Head Director- Madisyn Pozo. NYCLI
Volleyball focused on private and group training to improve technique as well as
individual skill. We are expanding as a competitive travel club.
DONATIONS
We appreciate any donations to our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
We seek to aid our athletes into fulfilling their dreams to play collegiate
volleyball. In order to do so, we must participate in big tournaments such as:
AAU Nationals in Orlando, Boston Volleyball Festival, and more in order for them
to get noticed by college coaches. We must train frequently to improve their
skills for the collegiate level. The cost of the tournaments, travel, and gym
fees are extensive. Therefore with a donation, we will be able to offer
financial scholarships directly to our athletes who need assistance.
All donations are tax-deductible.

Our mission is centered on exceptional athletes who possess unwavering
dedication and commitment to the sport of volleyball. We are seeking individuals
whose passion for the game burns brightly, those who exhibit an unrelenting
drive to push beyond boundaries and constantly improve. Our aspiration is to
assemble a team of dedicated athletes whose love for volleyball is evident in
their effort, resilience in the face of challenges, and determination to excel.
We believe that by bringing together such devoted individuals, we not only
elevate our collective performance but also foster an environment where
dedication and passion ignite success both on and off the volleyball court.
Additionally, we are seeking athletes with a "team first" mentality.
TRYOUTS
Tryouts will begin in August 2024. There will be a total of 2 tryouts.
* Athletes will have 72 hours to secure their roster spot followed by a deposit
after receiving their commitment form.
* We are looking for athletes to fill 15U, 16U, and 17U. GEVA age chart will be
uploaded here prior to tryouts.
* Tryout fee: $80
* Tryout location: Queens, NY
PRACTICES
* 2x a week - 2 hour practices in Queens, NY
* Athletes are expected to attend all practices and arrive 15 minutes early
* Excessive absences will result in the reduction of playing time
TOURNAMENTS
* 3 GEVA Local Tournaments
* 3 Away Tournaments (Ex: Boston, Connecticut, Atlantic City, Rhode Island,
etc.)
* GEVA or AAU
* 1 Plane Away Tournament (Ex: AAU Junior National Championships - Florida).
COMMITMENT
* Club volleyball is a huge commitment.
* Ask yourself if you can commit to the following:
* November-May club season
* 2x a week practices
* All tournaments - local & away tournaments
* NYCLI club mission & rules
COST
* Club Fee: $3,000
* Includes: 6 months of training, facility, tournaments, coaching, college
recruitment advisement program throughout the club season
* Uniform Package: $200
* 2 jerseys, spandex, sweatshirt, sweatpants, backpack, practice tee, socks
* Hotel and Transportation is NOT included in the fee: NYCLI Volleyball will
secure hotel blocks for the team to receive the best price for parents.
