PRIVACY

YOUR PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT TO YOU. CARING FOR YOUR INFORMATION IS IMPORTANT TO
US.

Wallis collects personal information from people who participate in market and
social research studies. This information is collected in keeping with the
Australian Data and Insights Association Code of Professional Behaviour, which
guarantees anonymity to respondents, and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) which sets
out rules about the way in which personally identified information on
individuals is to be collected, stored, transferred and used.

The best defence against potentially losing your information, is to not have it
in the first place. At Wallis we actively try to keep as little personal
information as possible. We do this in three ways, understanding the research
project, communicating the project needs with our research partners and clients,
and purging information when it is no longer required.

Our experience enables us to understand what personal information we need to
complete the research project. We will never ask for more information on our
respondents than we need. This knowledge is provided to our research clients and
partners, and again, we ask for no more information than we need.

Wallis tracks all data on its systems and ensures that all data has an owner and
a use by date. This ensures the data only stays on our systems for as long as
necessary before being purged.
