THE NIGHT'S PROGRAM

6:00 pm

The event kicks off with a cocktail reception featuring a fusion of delicious
foods from around the world, a something-for-everyone silent auction and other
exciting surprises!

8:00 pm

Dinner and formal program, hosted by charismatic Global News Anchor Colin
D’Mello, includes mesmerizing live performances and entertainment with singing,
dancing and more.

10:30 pm

Let loose and dance the night away with award winning DJ Baba Kahn!

A night of mesmerizing performances that celebrate Diwali.

In past years, guests have enjoyed performances by incredible dance groups
like Canada's Got Talent Finalists Shadow Entertainment, and danced the night
away with famed Canadian singers Raghav & Tesher! We can’t wait for you to see

DIWALI, THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

Celebrated around the world, Diwali is the largest, brightest and most popular
event in the South Asian calendar. The word “diwali” comes from the Sanskrit
“deepawali” meaning “a row of lights,” with light symbolizing the triumph of
good over evil, prosperity over poverty and knowledge over ignorance.

The festival goes back to ancient harvest festivals and today is celebrated by
millions of Hindus, Jains and Sikhs worldwide in many ways including with fine
food, dance, music, storytelling and the exchange of gifts.
