Skiathos Grand Jeep Safari


THE BEST WAY TO EXPLORE SKIATHOS, THE AEGEAN PARADISE AND THE SECRET SPOTS IS AN
OFF-ROAD 4×4 TOUR.

You will visit some of the most important landmarks the island has to offer,
including Evangelistria Monastery, Kastro, Kechria beach, and a drive through
Mandraki forest on this daytrip that combines nature, culture and scenery.

Start the morning by hopping into our 4×4 and head deep into Skiathos along
paths and roads that only an all-terrain vehicle can pass through. First up is
the Evangelistria Monastery. Here, you’ll see a functioning distillery and visit
the museum. Next stop is the former capital, Kastro. Nature lovers will be
thrilled by the spectacular beauty of its location on a rocky headland.

We will then continue to the famous Kechria beach for a swim and lunch in a
beachside taverna. In the afternoon, we will continue west passing by Kounistra
Monastery, Elias and Mandraki beach. The tour ends with some of the most
beautiful parts of the island through Mandraki forest on our way back to your
hotel.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


What do I need to rent a car/scooter?

To book your car, all you need is a credit or debit card.

When you pick the car up you will need:
1. Your voucher, to show that you have paid for the car (If you have paid in
advance).
2. The main driver’s credit card.
3. Each driver(s) full, valid driving license, which they have held for at least
12 months.
4. Each driver(s) ID/passport.

To rent a scooter in Greece you are required to have an A (eligible for all
categories) or A1 (eligible for up to 125cc) driving license in addition to all
of the above.

Do I have to pay for extra services?

If you require additional services such as an extra driver, baby seat, please
include them in your booking request, the additional service fee is 5€ per day.

Child booster seat is FREE.

Additionally if you want an early/late delivery (before 8 a.m. or after 10 p.m.)
there is a fee of 20€.

Is there a deposit and what is the cancellation policy?

When booking online we will ask you to make a deposit of 2 days of your rental.

You can cancel your booking anytime up until 2 weeks before your reservation
date and we will refund your deposit.

NO-SHOWS:
In case of a no-show you will not be eligible for a deposit refund.

What is Collision Damage Waiver?

All rental vehicles come with Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection
(TP).

The renter can limit his responsibility for his legal share in any damage of the
vehicle up to:

a) 300,00€ (incl. VAT) for scooters 50cc to 200cc.

b) 500,00€ (incl. VAT) for car groups: A, B, C, D, Q, O and moto groups: Beverly
300cc, Enduro motorcycles, and quads 250cc to 450cc .

c) 700,00€ (incl. VAT) for car groups: E, J, K, P and moto groups: quads 550cc
to 700cc.

d) 1000,00€ (incl. VAT) for car groups: M, S.

Provided that traffic laws where not contravened (i.e. violation of red light or
STOP sign, illegal overtaking, driving under the influence of alcohol etc.).

What should I do if the car breaks down?

In the case of a car breakdown, accident or mechanical difficulties please call
our company immediately. We must give authority for repairs or replacement cars.
Keep copies of all relevant documentation you are asked to complete. This may be
needed if you wish to make an insurance claim. For accidents, a police report
and an incident report from the car rental counter will be required.

How old do i have to be to rent a car?

You must be 21 years old minimum to rent a vehicle.

Can I rent a car if i dont have a credit card?

When collecting the car, you will be required to leave a deposit (cash if you do
not have credit card). This deposit ensures that the customer can cover any
damage to the vehicle and/or equipment.
