Sedasjon med Aqui-S ved simulert termisk avlusning

Studie ved Universitetet i Tasmania viser redusert stress og panikkadferd ved
sedasjon under varmtvannsbehandling. Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies
(IMAS) ved Universitetet i Tasmania har nylig rapportert fra et forsøk der man
simulerte termisk avlusning av laks med og uten sedasjon.

Stressreduksjon ved hjelp av Aqui-S under trenging i merd

I et forsøk gjennomført ved forsøksanlegget til Letsea på Dønna fant en at
sedasjon med middelet Aqui-S under trenging reduserte nivåene av kortisol og
laktat og ga mindre skjelltap på fisken enn hos usedert fisk. Aqui-S vil derfor
være et aktuelt middel for å redusere stress og skader.

AGD-behandling og stress

Av og til er det dessverre nødvendig å avlive et større eller mindre antall
