     W ALGARVE - SEPT 23
     
     A late minute booking in Sept 23 - I booked the W Algarve as am synonymous
     with the brand and wanted to try out a new location of theirs on short haul
     distance, my first visit to Portugal also, booked late Sunday night and was
     at the hotel by 12pm the next day!
     
     The Whatever Whenever team are constantly on hand and deliver a special
     touch in any needs or queries that you may have. They sorted out a private
     transfer on very short notice and on arrival to the hotel the whole team
     were very welcoming, sorting refreshments and guidance whilst the room was
     readied.
     
     The rooms themselves are beyond expectation for the area, great views and
     so spacious. The bed was so comfortable, pastel de natas waiting in the
     room with a hand written greeting card - a little touch that goes a long
     way, seating area, storage space, big balcony with drying rack and lovely
     strip lighting out there at night. The in room water was replenished
     multiple times daily which is really essential and one of the most
     appreciated features of the W. Fast wifi access was available everywhere
     and in room, including USB and plug sockets. In room steamer and iron,
     hairdryer etc all available also as well as the delightful Momo branded
     shampoo, shower gel and conditioners.
     
     The complex itself is not huge so makes for a relaxing stay, the beach
     coves are a slightly longer walk which for those that require there are
     shuttles available for the distance, although I enjoyed the walk. The
     sunset from the beach is truly not to be missed!
     
     There was no issues in loungers or availability, towel and service also all
     on hand throughout. The hotel was in limited walking distance so rental or
     taxi may be needed if planning to go further a field. But other beaches,
     shops etc all within reasonable walking distance. Multiple on property
     restaurants and room service also available and of high standard - the
     Apricot was a great twist on my favourite Whisky Sour at the W lounge. The
     buffet breakfast was definitely worth the add-on, a plentiful mix of
     continental, pastries, breads, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, juices,
     fried; and an egg station to order however you would like which set
     everyday up just right, available 7am-11am and with seating both inside and
     out.
     
     Overall the most relaxing stay, with no cares or worries as the team has
     everything on hand and ready to assist and sort anything you need, I would
     definitely recommend and look forward to staying again when I get a chance.

     Overall a nice hotel. With a heated small pool. Food was lovely, staff were
     super friendly. The breakfast could have been better but it wasn’t too bad.

     THE HOTEL HAS BECOME OUR ALGARVE HOME FROM HOME
     
     Having retuned for the fourth time since the opening we were not let down
     and had a great relaxing time.
     
     There seems a desire to continue to improve the hotel and make changes as
     the hotel evolves. The beauty of the architecture, the setting & atmosphere
     of the main pool, Paper Moon restaurant are fantastic and agree added to by
     the can do will do attitude of the staff. they are not just staff they
     become friends who light up your stay.
     
     Special mention to Elly, (Whatever Whenever), Iris (Insider), Bruna & Oscar
     (Poll Management), Bianca (Welcome Manger) & Janete (Reservations). Great
     people and all know how to ensure guests have a great experience.
     
     I expect that we will be returning in 2024 and we look forward to it

     The W hotel in algarve is absolutely amazing, impeccably clean rooms,
     grounds and communal spaces. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming,
     nothing is too much trouble for them. The spa is a great treat to relax for
     an afternoon. The breakfast food is really delicious great range of options
     available, all fresh foods are available. The gym is spacious and well
     equipped. Pools are really beautiful and just the right temperature to get
     refreshed from the sunshine. The hotel provides water, sun cream and plenty
     of towels beside the pool which is a really nice touch. I can’t imagine
     anyone would have anything negative to say about this hotel it’s simply
     perfect in every way.

     NOT SURE IF IT IS WORTH TO FLY ALL THE WAY DOWN THERE
     
     From Manhattan during August, we visited W algarve for 7 nights. It is very
     clean and nice hotel but lack of fun and activities. The weather is a bit
     cold as well and the swimming pool definitely needs to be heated. or at
     least they need a hot tub since the beach is very wavy and cold as well. It
     is unfortunate because every employee there works very hard and super nice.
