The law professor in me wants to point out the unlawfulness of DOGE as a

undocumented be "offered chance at legal status" or "deported." Legal won 56-40
& we have anecdotal reports suggesting voters don't believe Trump will deport

today. Rep. John Duarte's (R) lead over Adam Gray (D) went from 194 votes to
203. The next update is tomorrow in Merced County, home to most of the uncounted

today, an update from Orange County increased Derek Tran (D)'s lead over Rep.
Michelle Steel (R) from 480 votes to 519 votes. Steel really needs to be gaining
in Orange, and she's only falling further behind. Next update Monday.

Update: cast vote records (CVR) in Washoe (NV) allow us to see the choices
voters made on the whole ballot. Overall, 5.8% of Trump voters went for Rosen,
5.5% went "none of the above" or 3rd party, and 1% skipped. (And there was more
splitting in Latino precincts...)

Early look at cast vote records (CVR) in Washoe (NV), which allow us to see the
choices voters made on the whole ballot: overall, 6% of Trump voters went for
Rosen, to 4% who skipped the race. The chart shows Trump voters in Latino
precincts were the most likely to either ticket-split or roll-off.
