There is a huge unfulfilled need for better patient monitoring, diagnostics and
reaction everywhere in healthcare.

Currently, the healthcare takes "Snapshot" pictures of the patient's state
periodically from time to time. This method proved insufficient for preventing
deaths and deteriorations.

The disease progress is a continuous process that requires adequate tracking and
intervention to fill the gaps of hidden disease changes: the leading cause of
preventable deaths and deterioration. 

At Checkpointcardio, we are enabling the switch from a "Snapshot" model to a
"full movie" model where patients and carers are fully and constantly
connected. 




SOLUTION 
FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE PATIENTS CAN BE "ALWAYS CONNECTED"  TO AN INTEGRATED
MEDICAL TEAM

      The Checkpointcardio remote monitoring medical solution measures an
unmatched quantity of vital signs in real time and transmits them wirelessly to
medical professionals regardless of the patient's location.

      It was developed and validated with the leading EU university hospitals
and is the most advanced, widespread and affordable telemedicine solution on the
EU market.




 HOW WE ARE BETTER ?









WE INCREASED THE RESOLUTION OF THE PHYSIOLOGICAL DATA COLLECTED FROM 2 TO 4000
DATA POINTS/24H
 

A personal multiparameter, first on the market medical wearable device - a 100g
version of a bedside monitor designed for in-hospital and home use. It collects
and transmits in real time a vast number of parameters captured by ECG, Digital
stethoscope, PPG wave Respiration wave, Accelerometer, and Temperature sensors
collecting medical-grade measurements.





      WE INCREASED THE NUMBER OF VITAL PARAMETERS ANALYSED FROM 5 TO 19 

We went beyond the usual vital sign collection and assessment to provide
clinical data allowing the medical professionals to deliver remote
care, outperforming current office and hospital examination results. 




WE CREATED A.I. BASED PATIENT DIGITAL TWIN 



 An A.I. decision support system analyses the parameters captured by our
wearable device, and uses them to calculate a whole new set of Digital
Biomarkers, used to create a Digital Twin of the patient. The uniquely wide
collection of digital biomarkers we can leverage (we can extrapolate over  3000,
compared to the current state of the art utilizing a maximum of 5) allows us to
construct the first Digital Twin, which is entirely reflective of the
physiological state of every single patient, better identifying any anomalies to
properly assess variations in health.


FINALLY, WE ALIGNED THE CLINICAL DELIVERY PROCESS WITH THE DISEASE'S NATURAL
FLOW    

    We created a new medical entity (Virtual ward) with a dedicated and
integrated clinical team. Assisted by our AI decision support system, the team
continuously analyzes the data to track the patient's conditions 24/7 and, if
needed, inform the treating clinical team and manage timely healthcare delivery
for every single patient.

   The Virtual Ward is a novel, stand-alone medical entity developed for more
than eight years, and more than 200 clinical protocols were created for remote
patient health management.

   Checkpoint Cardio Virtual ward is a Pan-European entity that currently serves
patients in several countries and more than 50 locations in hospitals,
rehabilitation centres, or at home.
