What is Creativity?

Creativity is not limited to the fields, just seen as what musicians and artists
process. Being creative is a crucial skill for professionals in all fields.

Creativity can be defined by using your mind, imagination, and experiences, and
you can make something new. In this way, one can create an item that may be
tangible or intangible.

Often, this newly created item is also referred to as an “innovation.”

Think of Facebook, drones, AI, Tesla cars, smartwatches, living robots, and the
iPhone as innovations in our modern era.



Why is creativity important in everyday life?

 It is because it helps to convert life into infinitely interesting and
fulfilling. Creativity is a style of living life that embraces originality and
makes unique connections between obviously different ideas. It is about living
life as a journey into seeing and communicating the extra-ordinariness of the
simplest, most everyday activities.

We think about creativity as making something. But in fact, the root meaning is
‘to grow.’ When we make something creative, we imagine and feel as if the world
and all that is in it are vibrantly alive. Creativity’s by-products are some of
the major successes of civilization, from the make into the use of the wheel to
Mozart’s sonatas.

Human beings are creative by born–from the cradle on, and we find innovative
techniques to negotiate life. The most creative people make new ways using the
same obstacles because they find them not just as roadblocks but also as
opportunities. Creativity widens our perceptions, and along with them come new
means of problem-solving, from making an exquisite meal when you don’t know how
to cook, to painting an extraordinary landscape when you are living in a
freezing attic and can’t afford a whole box of paints.



Creativity and Innovation

There is a close relationship between creativity and innovation.

Creative people do innovation and inventions often go together. One must be
creative if one wants to be innovative. 

Creativity can help uplift your life in your foster relationships, the
businesses you are a part of, and how you look at studies.

If you can use your creative thinking to introduce an innovative new system into
a business or create an innovative product, you can positively affect those
around you.

Creative individuals could make innovative products such as the ones mentioned
in the beginning. Their sole contributions to society have positively affected
the quality of life for so many people.

Just look at some of the innovations like Amazon, Uber, Google, Airbnb, etc.

Think of how these innovations have uplift people’s quality of life.

the society to someone. If you aren’t a musician, artist, or someone in an
“artsy” field, you might question why creativity is important. If it’s something

something that grows with effort, and time and it’s worth exploring. Here are

Some say being creative can make your life longer. If your mind is working
regularly and keeping your mind active, you’re essentially working out the brain
muscle. Like all exercise, this saves you healthier, so you live longer than
someone who doesn’t use the mind.

Children are more creative than adults.

Mostly adults obey and care for the rules and regulations, which kills their
creativity. Mischievous child neglects the barriers and comes up with for
revolutionary thinking. Our school systems typically denigrate imagination,
imperfection, and daydreaming- all attributes that great minds say were key to
their most revolutionary ideas. Educational systems do not allow us to teach not
to think differently but to follow instructions and obey the status quo.



Creativity for the new generation

The rapidly changing world is now looking for a set of learning specific skills
towards innovations. Students are prepared for life outside the classroom and
learning how to be more creative, including the execution of tasks and
flexibility in perception.

Schools have started making children knowledgeable on the importance of
creativity. Suitable courses have been provided to schools because it is common
knowledge that only creativity can help students succeed in the 21st century.
