CONTROLS DEV LOGS


1.2.1 - AUGUST 21, 2023

 * Fixed bug where your character would be pushed around too much by explosions
   when you had a forcefield active.
 * Fixed issue with snakes targetting dead players in PvP.
 * Made it so when the application goes out of focus on the Web and Android
   version, if you are standing in a guild outpost you will be automatically
   removed from it.
 * Several H.E.O. members now have post-Xantis defeat dialogue.
 * When hovering over items in the vendor, it will now show the player's name
   that is selling the item.
 * 1 guild contribution point is now given for every 2 seconds you are standing
   in a guild outpost.
 * Fixed bug with hall of fame donation menu not working from a previous update.
 * Attempted to fix KOTH timer counting issue. Seems fixed, but may need more
   testing to verify.
 * Fixed a couple out of bounds spots in area #66.
 * Fixed spelling error in an NPC dialogue.
 * Increased guild menu to display up to 500 guilds instead of 300.
 * Slightly buffed the drone attack's damage per level from a 6% increase to 9%.
 * The "Reflection" skill has been nerfed slightly. It's chance of reflecting
   per level was decreased from 4% to 3%.
 * Tornadoes now immediately remove themself if you change to a different weapon
   class.
 * Players who have been AFK for more than 5 minutes are now auto disconnected.


1.2.0 - NOVEMBER 21, 2022

 * Clamp traps and flares will now remove themself if you equip a non-gun as
   your primary weapon.
 * Reduced size of element effects in the UI so they are less obtrusive.
 * Fixed bug with payvault "more friends" button not going gray once the item
   has already been bought 4 times.
 * Most two handed guns got a slightly buff in their rate of fire.
 * The wishing well will now drop coins at noon also, instead of just midnight.
   Also moved wishing well slightly so coins spew out in a full 360 degree area.
   Coin magnet will also no longer work on money from the wishing well.
 * 3 new wizard skills.
 * Fixed bug with flare roll doing the incorrect damage when using a shield.
 * Fixed bug with magic flame breathe skill when using a shield.
 * Fixed bug with global XP share contribution points not getting added when you
   create a new guild.
 * Buffed "magic breathe" and "storm breathe" damage.
 * Fixed bug with "mini homings" skill not using the correct amount of MP.
 * Guild announcements feature added!
 * Fixed small bug where dropping an item in the portal booth area would have it
   fall through the floor.
 * Fixed bug where guild members with certain symbols in their username would
   never appear online in the guild chat list menu.
 * Added new "members" view page to the guild settings menu.
 * Guild menu can now be sorted by contribution points and total levels.
 * Improved the performance of the guild menu by no longer displaying item
   upgrades on players.
 * Fixed an out of bounds spot in area #47.
 * Archers can now shoot continuously without reclicking, even when playing on
   non-mobile platforms.
 * Magic breathe skill now does rune damage.
 * Decreased the amount of time a mage is stunned after their forcefield is
   destroyed.
 * Drums can no longer be played when standing too close to a ladder.
 * 5 new helmets.
 * 5 new chest armor.
 * 5 new leg armor.

 * 1 new shield.
 * 8 new weapons.
 * Fixed bug where gunman's poison zone would not properly orient itself when a
   grenade blew up on a slanted surface.
 * Fixed exploitable bug where forcefield would not go away after watching a
   cutscene with it active.

 * Game assets are now loaded from a CDN, for faster loading and cheaper
   bandwidth costs.
 * A dozen NPC now have different dialogue after defeating Xantis.

   players in the area.
 * Added 3 second anti-spam period between sending messages in the main chat.

 * Fixed bug where forcefield boosting effect would not go away if you started

 * Fixed bug with your own snakes able to hurt you in PvP if you are not in a
   guild.
 * "Poison zone" damage per level has been lowered from 30% to 20%.
 * Attempted to fix bug where poison zone boost damage would still be done even
   after a poison zone was removed. (may need further testing to verify fix.)
 * Fixed bug where if you were attacked and knocked down right before riding an
   enemy, your player would appear laying while riding.
 * Fixed bug where audio and visual effect was not being created whenever an
   attack was reflected when using a shield.
 * Fixed small visual bug where the player's beard was still visible during the
   invisible part of the ninja slash animation.
 * Fixed bug where the mage basic attack was not causing electric chain damage.
 * Fixed small bug where you could revive after being killed by adding a skill
   point into health.
 * Refactored some of the logic for the KOTH timers to prevent the player timers
   getting out of sync.
 * Fixed exploit where a player could equip two one handed weapons even though
   they only had one of them owned.
 * Fixed small visual bug where colorized armor, legs, or shoes would not change
   color in the UI when toggling between two colorized items.
 * Fixed visual bug where the increase/decrease UI text when viewing a hardened
   shield would not properly reflect the shield's hardening stage.
 * Fixed bug where billboard images would often not load for the area you first
   log into.
 * Attempted to make a patch for trade scamming. Will need further testing
   though.
 * The guild hall is now open for 3 more hours a day.
 * The payvault character menu customizer now includes the color black.
 * Coin drops greater than 2500 now show a gold bar, and greater than 20000 will
   show a money bag.
 * Upgraded to a slightly more powerful server to help reduce lag delay that can
   occur during times where higher amounts of players are online.

 * Fixed issue with whip electric tip hits doing the damage of a non-tip hit.
 * Fixed bug where you could not complete the "look like a banana" or "look like
   a baseball player" mission if the equipment you had on was upgraded.

 * Fixed bug where "bouncing rain" skill was doing having its damage multiplied.
 * Damageable environmental object will not take into account the whip tip

 * Removed rune visual effects from arrows and bullets because they were
   impacting performance too much.
 * Lowered forcefield, rage, and footsteps sound effect volume.
 * You will automatically get taken out of the KOTH arena if you click outside
   of the game in the web version.
 * Item storage has been increased to 36 item slots and had it's price in the
   Payvault increased from 90 to 150 emeralds.
 * Guild contribution points have been added.
 * Fixed issue with shrapnel explosion able to push objects way to much,
   resulting in possibly pushing players off the map.

   effects was on and you dropped items and jumped at the same time.

   introducted in some previous update.
 * A skill can now be downgraded even if a parent skill has been upgraded, as
   long as the skill is above level 1.

 * "Poison Zone" skill can now be upgraded to stage 4. "Pure rage" to stage 4.
   "Coin thief" to stage 5. "Magic breathe" to stage 4. "Sonic boom" to stage 5.
 * 3 new skills (2 gunman and 1 whipmaster).
 * Fixed a miscalculation in the rage damage multiplier.
 * "Tornado" and "air bursts" skills now do weapon upgrade damage.
 * Increased" Tornado" skill duration from 12 seconds to 15 seconds.
 * The "Tornado" skill's animation now plays 29% faster.
 * Fixed grammatical error in rate of fire value for "Tornado skill".
 * Fixed overflowing text issue in main chat where players would spam long
   characters causing the chat scrolling to get screwed up.
 * Fixed mistake where KOTH win time was incorrectly set to 1 minute instead of
   10 minutes.
 * 1 new rank and HOF statue: KOTH wins.
 * Reduced lag caused by the hit effect created by poison and electric weapons.
