I NEED HELP ON HOW TO DEAL WITH AN ALL BOY'S CLUB AT WORK.

I've been at this new job nine months and I like it and want to stay. I've been
told I'm doing a good job and am about six months away from being promoted to
where I want to be. The two men who I answer to play golf with some of my other
male colleagues, make deals without my knowledge with outside males that affect
me in my job, accept lots of sports perks from these outside men, and you get
the idea. I'm increasingly frustrated because I am too old for this crap and I
am over here working my ass off to get ahead when I think they are just getting
ahead by playing and watching sports together. Please don't suggest HR or
talking to a female colleague - I just want to know how to deal with my anger
about it. Thank you!! ?

Talk with a therapist. Consider playing golf with them OR offering to drive the
"beer cart." You need to do something that can develop a professional
relationship with them or nothing will change.

I get what you’re saying about working hard to get ahead and all that, but I
also believe sometimes you gotta go out of your comfort zone to just feel like
you fit in. My VP invited me out for a drink after work with others. As much as
I would have rather gone home, I felt I needed to go just to be more a part of
the Team. Maybe you don’t play golf, but could meet up with them for lunch or
drinks after they play. Just trying to think of ways you could connect better.

I interviewed with a company where I hit it off with the hiring manager.
She said she was excited about my candidacy and passed me on to the next series
of rounds. I made it to the final round. All of the interviews went well. I sent
thank you notes. The hiring manager said I should hear from someone within the
week. A week went by and I didn't hear…

So, I work for three very controlling and erratic bosses.
Everyone is always on guard for what will happen to me next, very chaotic. I
have an opportunity to potentially switch departments but I know if I go down
this road, they will sabotage me. My friend who is trying to steal me wants me
to give a presentation for her department so that…

I have a wonderful coworker (Supervisor) that I have worked with for 2 years.
She is a hard worker, never calls in and always goes above and beyond to get the
job done. She has amazing performance reviews and has never had an issue with
management or other employees. Our company requires a background check before an
employee can start. Apparently…

I would like to rebuild my work confidence and resume my professional
experience, but struggle with imposter syndrome and doubts about my abilities
and expertise.
I am in my mid-late 20s and I get constant anxiety attacks and panic regarding
my career, I recently lived and worked abroad (The UK), but returned back home
due to mental health reasons (mainly work related). I have never experienced
this and I would like to get back on track and…
