gateway, watchdog doesnt kill the existing gateway session / restart gateway and

using watchdog to restart gateway on error 1100 and resubscribe to historical
live bars.

click the Change button. This mean letting your machine run automatic updates.
If you are tired of your computer "Getting Windows Ready" after an update when
you just want to play some games, you should set up active hours to let Windows
do its thing when you aren't using the PC. When Windows runs an update, it has
to take time to install those updates when you shut down-and, often, when you
boot back up. Any shortcuts added here will automatically launch at boot-so if
there's something here you don't want launching, just delete it from the folder.
Open File Explorer and type %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup into the address bar to access your Startup folder. You
can also open Settings > Apps > Startup and turn off anything you don’t want to
open at startup. If you don't see an option in that program's startup settings,
you can disable it from this Task Manager window to prevent it from launching at
boot. ( Dropbox, for example, is worth the startup impact since you want it
running all the time-but the Epic Games Launcher probably doesn't need to launch
with your PC.) If you see a program in this list you don't need at
startup-especially if it has a high startup impact-head into that program's

setting bypasses some of the initial tests your computer runs when it first
starts up. Some computers have a Fast Boot setting in the BIOS. Rebooting is
unaffected, though, so if you run into problems with Windows Update or getting
into your BIOS, you may have to restart your PC to perform those tasks. It won't
preserve your open applications, like hibernation will, but the background OS
will go into hibernation mode, which will help you start up with a clean state
faster. Be sure to click Save changes when finished.Įssentially, this is a
halfway mode between hibernating and shutting down. If it's grayed out, you will
need to click the Change settings that are currently unavailable link at the top
of that window first, then turn on the Fast Startup feature. You should see a
checkbox next to Turn on fast startup in the list of options. Click Choose what

Power Options. This may be enabled by default on many machines, but if you ever

INSYNC GOOGLE DRIVE LINUX

Gdrive is fairly standard, has wide acceptance and has rock-solid clients for
windows, iOS and android. Moreover, pcloud offers just 5 GB of free space which
is only slightly better than that offered to a dropbox free member.Įventually I
decided to settle down on google drive which has a massive 15 GB to offer for
free, with no limit on the number of syncing devices. Pcloud appeared to be a
good option with a great UI-driven client working like a charm on my linux mint
19 systems but I eventually ran into an issue with its app on android which
would not allow me to save edited files for want of a storage permission that I
couldn't ultimately make any sense of. My biggest problem with cloud storage
providers is that not many of them provide reliable client software for Linux,
which happens to be the OS that runs on most of my laptops and PCs. More out of
anger than a real need to have more than 3 simultaneously syncing devices, I
decided to explore other providers as a sad beginning of the end of my years of
association with dropbox. Up until that point I had been vaguely aware of a
number of providers out there offering much more than the measly 2 GB that I had
with my free dropbox account and who also allow many more than just 3 devices to
hook up. I was a bit put off when dropbox told me I already had three devices
linked to that account and that I would need to delink one or more of them
before I could activate dropbox on that brand new android. Overall, Insync is a
solid option for Linux users and other platforms as well.Having recently I
bought myself a brand new new android, within hours of unboxing it I found
myself downloading dropbox and trying to link it up with my free, 2 GB dropbox
account. So, you can try that for yourself, if you require, rest of the things
worked pretty well! I have a legacy license which includes " unlimited accounts"
but not the ability " ignore rules". I have tested all the sync modes, and
options available with Insync except " Ignore Rules" from the account
preferences menu which lets you ignore files to sync. Once I installed the RPM
package for Nautilus, I can see the sync status badges ( green tick marks) on my
file manager: You should always install the integration package for it from
Insync's download page, as mentioned above.

Not to forget, if you want to see the sync status of your folders right from
your file manager.

To configure such options, head to the app settings from the three-dotted menu
in the upper-right corner (as shown in the image below): Now that you know the
essentials of syncing files/folders, you should decide if you want Insync to
start after boot, show notifications, etc. You can change it by clicking on "
Files" and then hit " Change" to select or create a new destination for your
synced files from the cloud. So, you do not accidentally lose any of your
important files.īy default, all the 2-way Cloud Selective Sync will reside in
the default base folder, which you can find at: /home/username/Insync/ /OneDrive
You need to keep in mind the sync modes before setting up any syncs.

If you want Insync for servers and your business, you can opt for the “ Insyc
Office” plan that costs $159.99/year. The pricing that I mentioned is only for
individuals. Insync Care is an optional subscription for you to get email
support, and get access to the automatic updates to the app. The perks that you
get with the premium license include: You can also use it for a 7-day free trial
period without requiring payment details. I am uncertain if you get this
discounted price for a long time, but hopefully, you save a few bucks when you
purchase it. It may display regional currency on its pricing page.Īt the time of
writing this, the discounted pricing is $29.99 per account. The one-time fee for
a cloud account is $39.99. Insync charges you based on the number of accounts,
and it is a one-time fee.įor instance, you need to sync one Google Drive and an
OneDrive account, you pay for 2 x one-time fee. The file manager in the distro
is Nautilus.īefore I give you a good look at the Insync experience, allow me to
share you the specifics on its pricing. For this review, I installed Insync on
Fedora 38 with a OneDrive account synced.
