I did a very interesting exercise yesterday morning. cabi had released the top
15 selling pieces across cabi for August. It set me thinking that here in the UK
the results would most likely be different. Not least because of very different
weather fronts. So whilst a micro analysis across my wonderful clients and
hosts, this is the result. What I loved noticing as I worked this out is now my
clients now buy in outfits. We make sure that pieces mix and match not only with
new pieces they buy, but with pieces they already have in their wardrobe. As a

Heading off to share the gift of cabi with some of my wonderful friends. My
favourites right now as my presentation outfit: Jett Skort, Cherish Blouse and

Have you heard of the “Cortado Rule”? I hadn’t until this morning when reading
Vogue and a headline by Julia Hobbs really caught my eye. And for different
reasons. Firstly, Cortado is Mr N’s coffee of choice. Secondly, it resonated
with me as I’d been putting together some outfit combinations from our new
season Collection which fit the bill. Swipe to see - those trousers in the
middle are dark dark chocolate brown - think ganache. Julia goes on to say, The
Cortado Rule translates to wearing espresso-brown pieces below the waistline and
creamy layers above, mimicking the colours (and proportions) of the famed
Spanish beverage. I love it. And thirdly, cortado always makes me think about
Annie Lennox - several years back I remember reading her saying “Small things
make me happy... Cafe Cortado.. an expresso coffee mixed with a small amount of
milk to reduce the acidity. From the Spanish verb 'cortar' (to cut) in the sense
of "dilute". Si senor!

And she is so right, it is the small things that make

About last night. Fabulous time with 5 gorgeous ladies who have become friends
that I met here, on Instagram. We were sharing this season’s new Collection on
cabi’s very own Front Row styling platform. From Brighton to Leeds and other
places in between, we were able to enjoy fun and fashion with friends. It really

Oh boy, my Jett Skort has arrived. I know it’s sunny out there, but it has gone
straight on. I LOVE IT and know it will go with so many things I own. The front
it faux leather of the softest kind you can even imagine. The back shorts in our
super comfy and stretch ponte fabric with faux leather pocket trim. Footwear of

Do you ever stop and think about people who helped you start your business? I
do, and I am so grateful. Today I packed up this fabulous Collection and took it
to one of my wonderful hosts. I love telling this story as I think it is
probably my most unlikely way that someone started hosting. When I started my
business back in the Spring of 2017 (wow, where has that time gone!) I shared my
new exciting path on my personal Facebook page. I got a message from a guy whom
Mr N and I had met many years earlier and who was in Commercial Property - Mr S.
He had changed paths too and had opened a wine bar. He suggested we meet up and
chat about collaborating somehow. The result of which was a cabi gathering in
the wine bar (when it wasn't open I hasten to add) hosted by his wife. It was Mr
S I supplied all the invites to and liased with and when I turned up on the
agreed date I met Mr S’s wife for the first time. She knew nothing about cabi,
nothing about what was expected, but she was there with an open mind. We opened
some fizz, we opened some nibbles and I chatted with her and explained all about
cabi as we prepared for guests to arrive. We had the best afternoon. This
afternoon we shared our 19th cabi gathering together 💃🏼🥂. The gathering is
still quite unique as we both invite lovely ladies along. Some meet for the
first time in the Wine Bar. It's a bit of a melting pot of women who have become
cabi friends. It is the perfect venue. Mrs S is the perfect host. What's more,
from these gatherings across the years I have gained several more hosts who
continue to share cabi with their friends too. cabi gatherings can be of all
sorts. There is nothing I won't try and many I have tried that are just a little
different have stayed and are such fun. Thank you Mr S, you have no idea how

Getting ready to welcome two lovely VIP clients this afternoon to cabi casa. I
love nothing better than spending some time thinking about which outfits they

Another day, another delicious salad. This time visiting Hotel El Convent near
Begur with our besties. The tomatoes in Spain are really just delicious and you
need very little else, but the onion and anchovy just finish it off. Mr N had

Can you believe it? cabi's Spring '23 season is drawing to an end, retiring to
make way for the Fall '23 Collection, launching late-July. This means I no
longer need my Spring '23 inventory on my rail. You might not know but my

What a beautiful day. Just been for a wander in the shade with Miss B. Check out
all the stunning flowers I passed as I strolled around the gardens. So lucky

What a fabulous day yesterday with @maxxnoss @jessnoss12 @likemindedsteve - we
saw parts of London we hadn’t seen before. Walked and talked in the glorious
sunshine. Stopped for drinks. Had the most amazing meal. All organised by Mr &
Mrs Noss Jnr. Even the extended train journey home - no trains back to Rugby -
didn’t dampen the joy. Though we were in the only air-conditioned carriage of
the train - the rest of the train passengers were melting!!!! Thank you both for
the most amazing day. Love you so much. Crazy to think I started this week

Yesterday, I had the privilege of being a guest at SmartWorks Birmingham Charity
Lunch. What an amazing event it was too. Our guest speaker was Michelle
Leavesley, VP Warwickshire CC, who was just great to listen to. An interesting

are Love Local events happening in the US, Canada and, here in the UK, for the
first time, we have 3. 🩷🩷🩷 You often times hear me talking about my passion
for our Heart of cabi Foundation and the 3 areas we focus on; Restoration,
Vocation and Education. It truly is a blessing to work with a brand with a true
heart. Each season, a portion of the net proceeds from the sale of one of our
pieces in the collection will help fund The Heart of cabi Foundation’s efforts
in our local communities. This season it is our gorgeous Serenity Tee. One of
our chosen charities this season is @maggiescentreedinburgh Maggie’s is a truly
amazing charity set up to support anyone impacted by cancer. We have worked with
various Maggie’s centres across the UK but Edinburgh has a special place in our
hearts. My fellow pioneer @nikihmartin and a team of wonderful UK Stylists
styled 36 women. All of whom left feeling and looking fabulous, with a bag full
of brand new cabi pieces for their wardrobes. I’ll share a second event tomorrow
and then you’ll see the one I’m joining later this month. To think @cabiclothing
#cabiuk will have impacted around 100 women in the UK in May through the heart
of cabi Foundation gives me shivers. Can clothes change lives? I know they can.

Madrid we love you. What a gorgeous place it is. Visited the @museoprado - wow,
need to go back. 100 rooms filled with art. The Goya paintings entitled 2nd May
and 3rd May capture the uprising against French occupation of Spain in 1808. The
emotion is clear and felt. I absolutely loved the two marble sculptures you’ll
see when you swipe. The Blossoming of Love and the Veiled bust of Isabel II.
Look closely, that veil is marble! The city itself is beautiful. Clean. Calm.
The tapas delicious. The people watching fun. Now we head to Gerona. Happy days.

I’m taking a moment reflecting on a week filled with celebrating entrepreneurial
women in business. 🤔 At three cabi events in Birmingham, Oxford and York,
Panelists shared about their business, their journeys and their whys with women
in the room. The passion from each panelist palpable. You can imagine can’t you,
the conversation was rich and inspiring. I can’t tell you how proud I was to be
sharing the total joy my own cabi business brings to me, my family, my hosts and
clients (read friends), some of whom were able to join me at these two of the
events in Birmingham and Oxford. Being a cabi business owner is a very real
opportunity. It fits around your life, your commitments. It brings you joy. It
allows you to impact so many women’s lives. You soon discover you have the most
amazing, collaborative team of women around you. It’s fun. You have a new
wardrobe 👗🧥👚👖 every season (twice a year). And you earn an income - weekly!
As if that wasn’t enough, it’s a business with heart ♥️ which allows you to
affect change and impact women in need. Being involved in organising these
events has really served as a reminder of how far cabi UK has come in a very
short time. Spending time with one of our Founders @sydryan was the icing on the
cake. I wonder when those 12 women sat in a room together 22 years ago and
created cabi, knew their dream would become other women’s dreams here in the UK

One of the things I love about my @cabiclothing business is the women I have
met. I had a goosebump moment yesterday, standing on the steps of The Berkeley
Hotel after sharing time with some of my cabi sisters. You see for my birthday
they bought me a fabulous Front Row Afternoon Tea. It was all fashion focussed.
It was truly marvellous. @charlottehartforfashion was here from the US,
@jojumaluha came from West Sussex and @shapeyourwardrobe from Leamington Spa.
The gift itself from Stylists across US and UK. To top it off @sydryan one of
our cabi Founders joined us for some of the afternoon. Anyway, I digress. The
goosebump moment. If I hadn’t been curious about cabi when Charlotte and I were
introduced and before cabi had launched in the UK, if I hadn’t researched it and
been intrigued by the fabulous ethos as well as the designs, if I hadn’t wanted
to be a Pioneer helping launch this incredible women’s clothing brand here in
the UK, I wouldn’t have known any of them. Women I would do anything for. This
is what cabi is all about. The women: Stylists, hosts and clients, who have
become friends. The relationships. It was a real moment. I am grateful.

This weekend I headed off to Milton Keynes to see these four wonderful women -
all of whom I have met because of…. Yep, you got it, my business. Four friends
of many years who have brought me into their friendship group because of their
love for cabi …. and me too of course. I think we should be the modern day
Famous (and fabulous) Five. Being together on Saturday had so much meaning. It
was reason to celebrate and we did. Fun, fashion and true friends indeed, who

A little trip to @soslingerieseedsofsuccess to collect my new bra and panties,
after a recent bra fitting. Did you know that an astounding 80% of women wear
the wrong bra size? Having the right under garments is essential to ensuring
your clothes hang properly. We all need the best foundations. We should be
measured regularly and we need to replace our bras more often than we might
think. We also need to make sure that our bra straps are adjusted properly. What
I love about going to SOS Lingerie is that Justine always makes sure that the
bra fits properly and the straps are set for you. My latest @empreintelingerie
set is already on! If you haven’t recently been measured, make it a ‘to do’
activity. And what I also love about visiting the shop is Melbourne is a great
place to wander around too. There’s great places to grab a cuppa and something
to eat - like @meaksofmelbourne And great places to browse, like
@melanielouisemelbourne Today I was looking for a birthday card and came out
with rather more than that. A fabulous shop to inspire ideas. I’m already

CABI UK PARTNERING WITH MAGGIE'S CANCER CENTRES




I recently drove the 5+ hours back from Edinburgh with a heart filled with
emotion. I had the pleasure of coming together with my cabi sisters and sharing
some precious time with women impacted by cancer at Maggies in Forth Valley..




We set up a makeshift styling boutique, styling each woman in turn, offering
styling tips and filling their bags with brand new designer clothing donated by
cabi. We witnessed women blooming, almost like flowers, as they caught sight of
themselves in their new outfits, completed with a piece of jewellery and a
designer mask too.




If you ask any one of the cabi Stylists who were part of the two day Event (the
first one was at Maggie’s in Edinburgh), I know each of us will tell you, that
this is part of our why. I will never forgot this time, nor any one of those
women. 
It was truly magical.
